My landline's been getting these automated calls claiming to be from the tax office. They tell me to press (1) if I want to speak with someone. Feels like one of those scams to me.

Got loads of calls every day purporting to be from HMRC - total scam, obviously. It’s annoying having to block them all the time.

Like a lot of others, I got a robo call this morning from 02033223868 saying it was HMRC. I didn't stay on the line too long and reported it straight away to the phishing email they mentioned up above.

Like a lot of people, I got a call supposedly from HMRC saying there was an arrest warrant out for me and to press 1. Luckily, my elderly relative popped over and took the call - she’s 97 and would never have handled it herself. This sort of scam is really worrying.

Got a call from this number saying they were from HMRC and that I was going to be arrested unless I rang a different number. Total scam, don't fall for it!

Over the last couple of days I've had around 6 or 7 calls like this. Today I picked up one of them and there was this poorly audible foreign voice on the line asking me to verify MY info. I lost it, shouted a bunch of swear words and told them straight up it was a SCAM. They just hung up on me. Bit of a surprise, honestly!

Got a call from some recorded message claiming to be HMRC, said there’s a warrant out for me because of unpaid taxes and told me to press 1 to talk to someone. It’s a complete con. I just ended the call straight away. Watch out for this scam!

Just like others have said, I got a call this morning about 9, and then they rang me again not long after. It's definitely that HMRC scam going about. I didn’t even answer the second time, it went straight to voicemail. Best thing is just to give it a miss.

Got like these calls a few times today, about four actually. They never said who they were but kept saying there’s a warrant out for me and I needed to hit 1 to talk to someone about my case. Sounds just like those tax scams folks mention on here. I just ignored all of them and didn’t answer once.

It's the same old story, some scam about an arrest warrant from HMRC. Absolute rubbish, don't let it stress you out - they're just trying to trick you with lies.

Got another call today from some scammer pretending to be HMRC, just like I got twice yesterday. I just ended the call straight away. Remember, HMRC don’t ever ring you up out of the blue.

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC. They left a voicemail saying there's a police warrant out for me over unpaid taxes. Honestly, when did the police start chasing people for tax? Total scam alert. Just hang up and definitely don't press any buttons.

Got a voicemail saying HMRC was sending me a summons or something, told me to press one to sort it out. Didn’t go near it. Pretty clear it’s just a scam trying to catch people out.

I've been getting calls around 9 in the morning from different numbers, mostly this one 02033223868, but it sounds exactly like the one from 0203075482. Both say they're from HMRC or the police, which is proper worrying. They keep changing the number they call from, which is quite scary. Whatever you do, don't press any buttons - just hang up straight away.
