Got a phone call this morning claiming to be BT saying my internet would get disconnected because of someone else using it. They asked me to press 1 or something. Pretty sure it wasn't really BT. This is the second time I've had that sort of call on my home phone.

Definitely feels like one of those scams pushing you to press 1, probably connected to a pricey premium number. If a call sounds threatening, don’t even think about pressing any buttons. Legit organisations would never reach out like this.

Just got another one of those dodgy recorded calls. They kept blabbing on about my national insurance being frozen and that there’s a warrant for my arrest. Then they said to press 1 to sort it out or else. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Just got a call saying press 1, but I bet it’s one of those premium rate scams trying to rip you off. Earlier today, a similar message came through, but it was from a weird international number, 1442033221133. Be careful with these sorts of calls!

Sometimes calls come through as 0203 or just now 01442 from Hemel Hempstead. There’s this recorded message saying something about HMG launching legal action against me, threatening arrest and telling me to press 1 to sort National Insurance stuff. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it!

I received a call from someone claiming that an arrest warrant has been issued against me by Her Majesty's Government. It was glaringly obvious to me that it was a fraudulent attempt, but I can only imagine how many unsuspecting individuals might get alarmed by such nonsense. This kind of behaviour is utterly unacceptable and really ought to be put to an end!

I received a rather dodgy automated call claiming that I owed some money, threatening to suspend my National Insurance number if I didn’t respond. Naturally, I pressed 1, only to have a bloke on the other end. I couldn’t help but let him know what I thought of his scam - gave him a right telling off before I slammed the phone down! This is the third time in just two days they’ve tried to reach me, so I sincerely hope this puts an end to it. The number was 02033221133, if anyone's interested.

Got three calls on my voicemail today from some scammer going on about NI numbers and arrest warrants, telling me to press 1. I always keep my answerphone on and only return calls to folks I actually know. This could be really harmful for older people who might panic and press 1 like they’re told. It’s just sad someone’s spending their time harassing people like this.
