Today a parcel arrived - no phone, just two three sim card contracts. I called Three but they denied any connection, no changes on my account, and said those sim packs aren’t from them. So I’m chucking them out and contacting my bank to block any dodgy charges. They tricked me, but I’m not lettin’ them have my cash!

I picked up just to hear what the caller wanted, but while I was listening I found this site and had a look. Then I asked why she wasn’t calling from a 3 network number and she didn’t have a reply. I also asked for her number and she couldn’t give it to me either, so yeah, definitely a proper scam.

These calls keep coming nonstop, like 6 or 7 times a day! I never pick up, but I always check the number and it shows up as suspicious. I keep blocking them but they just keep swapping to different numbers whenever they call. Honestly, I wish there was a way to make them stop for good, I’m even thinking about reporting it to the police now.

My landline went off around 8.20 tonight - I reckon this has probably happened a few times before since I hardly ever use my fax/phone and the ringtone is really quiet. Sometimes I put my landline number online rather than my mobile because of this (even though I’m on the telephone preference service, they keep calling!). I get calls from numbers like this on my mobile too but at least I can block them there!

Got a call earlier today from a bloke asking for someone whose name started with the same letter as mine. I told him I had no idea who that was and ended the call. Right from the start the way he spoke felt off, I was kinda expecting him to say where he was ringing from but he didn’t.

I couldn’t help but laugh, and then the guy on the other end got all aggressive and started yelling. Honestly, we found the whole thing quite funny. Definitely looks like a scam, so just watch out and don’t click on any links they give you.

Got a call today from someone who somehow knew my email and asked about my iPhone model. I told them I’ve got an old iPhone 4 paying £5 a month, just to see what they’d say. They then tried selling me a "brand new" iPhone for £20 a month. When I called them out as scammers, they hung up and said they work for 3 network and used different numbers for complaints 😂 absolute joke.

Got a call on a Saturday night from some scammers, proper nuisance, blocked the number straight away. I reckon they’ll ring from a different one soon though. When I tried calling back, the number was dead. Dunno how they even manage to do that!

Got a call from some muppet pretending to be with 3, quoting an old address of mine and banging on about some brilliant deal. Told the bloke to take me off their blasted list, and he just told me to get lost. Proper rude! Sad to say, blocking the number doesn’t seem to keep these pests away.

they got my name and address plus all my bank details, it’s like they have access to everything at the bank. now they’re trying to get a loan in my name and i really want people to be careful with this. i’m only 19 but already dealing with debts from hackers, even got help from the police but they can’t seem to block that phone number. also, hackers are getting into our computers and can see everything - sofas, photos, documents, everything. i saw a video on youtube about how they steal passwords and send money to hackers. i really hope the cops manage to block that number soon.

Got a call from some idiot claiming to be from 3 Mobile pushing their latest deal on me. I asked him to remove my details from their system and he just told me to f### off. I've reported the number to the ICO for breaking GDPR rules and also to the Telephone Preference Service.

It seems these fellows claim to collaborate with three different companies to offer electronic gadgets for a monthly payment plan, but I suspect it’s all a ruse. I managed to keep the conversation going to glean more info. One chap claimed their office is in Northampton, while another insisted they’re located in London. Quite the muddle, really! They were rather impolite and overly keen to get hold of my credit or debit card particulars. If this number rings your phone, do yourself a favour and keep your details to yourself. You’d be better off not answering at all. Otherwise, if you’re feeling a bit bored like I am, you might enjoy wasting their time instead. Complete fraudsters, plain and simple!
