Got a missed call so I rang back, they kept going on about an echo and every time I spoke it would just repeat what I said. Then they rang me again later, and when I picked up they actually knew my name. They asked if it was me on the line and then said they were from o2. Bit strange if you ask me.

This number kept ringing me. The guy on the line actually knows my name, but I havn't got a clue who he is. He's phoned a few times using different numbers, which I’m gonna list here. Most calls come in the afternoon, but he’s also called on a Saturday. I know his voice so I just hang up straight away, but it still bothers me and feels a bit creepy. I reckon he’s figured out how to spoof the numbers or something.

if folks stopped answering cold calls they’d probably stop ringing so much. but since some people still answer, the companies think it’s worth the effort. personally, i don’t bother with them at all and anytime a firm cold calls or sends random mail, i just avoid using their services. ive done that a few times already.
