I got a call from this number earlier this evening, and when I picked up, the caller simply greeted me before the line went dead. This came right after I spoke with someone from 02037784942 who was also local - an Indian gentleman, no less. He had the audacity to verify my name and address, so I pried into how he actually obtained my information, especially considering the strict rules under the Data Protection Act. He claimed that a family member had entered some sort of online competition and had my details associated, but I was completely in the dark about any such thing; no one had mentioned it to me at all. He insisted he represented 'Lifestyle' or something similar, not trying to sell anything, but during our chat, without ever confirming my info, I made it clear I wasn't interested and ended the call. Shortly after, I received another call from 02033187543, so I'm pretty convinced it’s linked to the same dodgy business.
