Today, we received a very similar call. The callers mentioned that they had our contact information but claimed it was given to them by Microsoft. They started blabbering on about a problem with our Bluebird Wireless service... which is puzzling, as we don’t even have that service! Has anyone else encountered this? We tried returning the call, but it just rang out with a dead tone.

We received a call from this number, but we couldn't quite understand what the caller was saying, so we decided to hang up. She mentioned something about a problem with a computer, but we couldn't make head nor tail of it. We also tried ringing the number back, but it was unavailable at the time. Even when she asked for some information, we weren't inclined to divulge anything to them.

We've been receiving calls from the same number, and it's quite peculiar. There’s this lady on the line with a distinct accent who’s exceedingly pushy, insisting that our computer is in a dire state. She mentioned she’d ring us back shortly. After spotting your comment, we’ve decided to ignore her completely. Cheers for the heads-up!

Earlier on today, a gentleman reached out to us, sharing a remarkably similar tale regarding our computer supposedly harbouring a Bluebird virus. The caller had a rather thick accent and couldn’t quite tell us who had passed along this information, but claimed to be collaborating with Microsoft on some error reports. We entertained the notion for a short while, but eventually pressed her for an email address so we could arrange for a fix. She implied rather ominously that the longer this issue persisted, the steeper the potential costs would climb. In the end, we simply told her we’d be reinstalling our operating system instead.

I received five missed calls throughout the day, with the final one coming in at 9 o'clock in the evening. Quite perplexing, if you ask me!

After enduring almost a month of incessant silent calls, a man finally reached out to share a tale that mirrored what we'd heard before regarding our device being infected by something called the Bluebird virus. He had a noticeable foreign accent but couldn’t clarify who had tipped them off; he just mentioned he was collaborating with Microsoft on related error reports. We humoured the situation for a while, but when we inquired about the potential cost to rectify the issue, his response was rather alarming-indicating that the longer it took to resolve, the heftier the bill would be. We promptly told him to take a hike. I attempted to trace the call using 1471, but alas, no number was left behind.

We received a call from someone who sounded quite similar to others we've encountered before. The caller had a strong foreign accent and claimed to be contacting us from Essex, claiming to represent a company in partnership with Microsoft. They insisted that Microsoft had alerted them to some sort of virus present on our device. However, the moment we mentioned that we had just completed a scan and found nothing alarming, the caller responded by saying that these so-called viruses wouldn’t be detected by regular scans. My advice is clear: if you get a call from someone speaking with a foreign accent, purporting to be from Microsoft, it's best to approach it with caution and disbelief!

I’ve recently received a call from a number that’s the spitting image of the last one, 02033180604. As soon as we mentioned that, as professionals, we had our doubts about their authenticity, they kept pushing forward anyway. The sole piece of private information they claimed to possess was that we’re using Windows - honestly, who isn’t? They couldn’t even specify whether it was Windows 7 or XP, let alone provide any details about our actual machine. It’s alarming to think how many unsuspecting individuals could be taken in by this. Quite dodgy behaviour, if you ask me!

Today, we received a call from someone who sounded awfully similar to the last person we spoke to. They were quite insistent about how they acquired our phone number, claiming that Microsoft had provided it to them. Apparently, they were prattling on about a problem linked to our Bluebird Wireless service. The peculiar part is, we don't even have a Bluebird Wireless account! Has anyone else come across this lot? I tried ringing the number again, only to be met with an engaged tone, as if it doesn't even exist.

It's the same old tale. A chap with a foreign accent gave out the number 02033180604 and mentioned that I should speak to someone called Victor Hill. Quite the peculiar situation, really!

I received a call from this number, and the callers claimed to be from Microsoft. Has anyone else had a similar experience with someone from Microsoft ringing them up to inform them that there’s a virus infecting their computer?

I've received calls from this number twice already, and they also rang me three times last evening. Each time I pick up, there’s nobody on the other end, and then the call drops abruptly. Quite strange, really!

Absolutely, I've just received one that’s exactly the same.
