Yet another bloke pretending to be from Microsoft rang me claiming there were hackers trying to get into my PC. Normally they go on about viruses, but this time it was different. They tried to make me download anydesk.com, which I know is legit but they use it for dodgy stuff. Luckily, my neighbour popped round just then. The caller must have got fed up hearing us natter about the garden while I waited for my computer to 'load the page you requested, it’s really slow, could that be the issue?' Then the scammer just went quiet and left the call hanging.
