Got a call from 02033184925 at 8:41am on Bank Holiday Monday. They said there was an issue with my BT internet, but I don’t even use BT - my provider’s SKY. I just told them to put it in writing if there really was a problem.

so a mate told me i’d won some free lines for the super lotto after i supposedly entered some comp. sounded a bit dodgy, and after a while they said i had to cough up £39 for a syndicate, which seemed fishy to me. didn’t give them any info, but be careful with these sorts of calls!

Got a call from someone claiming I qualified for free lottery picks. They went on with the standard spiel but then asked for my bank account details, sort code and the name of my bank to supposedly transfer any prize money. I said no way and they hung up almost straight away. The voice sounded South African. Just a heads up, stay cautious!

Honestly, I don’t know if this was some kind of joke, but it wasn’t amusing at all. I answered the phone and out of nowhere, the person began cursing at me and then just hung up. Quite rude!

Got two calls earlier, missed the first one and the second went straight to voicemail but all I got was some weird static noise, no message or anything. Definitely blocking that number from now on.
