I got a call from a woman not long ago, she wanted to know if I’d been in a little car crash. I told her no, then she asked if I was the only one driving in the house, I said no again, and that no one else had been in any accidents either. I got a call saying I’d supposedly been in a car crash sometime in the last couple of years and they needed me to verify it. When I asked for details about where or when it happened, the lady just kept repeating that I’d been involved and wanted confirmation. I tried asking more about the accident but then she just ended the call.

I got a call like that today as well. The person claimed I'd been involved in an accident in the past 2 or 3 years, insisting it wasn’t my fault. I told them straight away to take my number off their list, but they kept pressing me to confirm the details. I refused to say anything and repeated that they needed to delete my number. Then she said something like “That’s odd, it says here you were involved,” and I just hung up on her. If I hadn’t been busy at work, I might’ve asked a few more questions because these types of calls are really annoying.

A lady named Makita Macfarlane rang me up, saying she was from some action claims bureau, telling me I’d supposedly been in an accident. What a waste of my time! There are honest firms, usually specialist lawyers, who properly deal with compensation for real injuries. Places like this should get fined and stopped from doing business altogether.

He called me from something called "Action Claims Bureau" which honestly sounded made-up. I asked straight away who exactly worked for this company, but they just pushed on with their spiel without answering. When I asked again, the line just got cut off. I've gone ahead and reported them to the Information Commissioner's Office. Really hoping some stricter measures are finally put in place against these types of firms.

Just got a call from these lot, saying they're with the National Road Traffic Investigation team. Then they started telling me to say I was feeling aches from a minor crash I had last week. Said I'd be entitled to compensation even if I didn’t have any proof. Whenever I asked if they were a private firm, they kept saying no, they’re part of the RTI. Felt really dodgy to me.

Complete morons! Got a call claiming I’d been in a car crash with a vehicle they said was mine - but I don’t even have a car! I told them I’m only 14, so no way I could own one. Got a call, I didn’t answer, then the phone buzzed again like 10 seconds after. Ignored it again, and guess what, they rang once more! Honestly, just hang up and wait, they’ll stop after a while. If it was something urgent, they’d leave a voicemail. Cheers to this website for confirming I made the call to ignore it!

Really frustrating experience with this number. A man with an Indian accent contacted me, claiming to represent Action Claims Bureau. When I questioned him about where he got my phone number from, he just ended the call straight away.

I got a call claiming I'd been in some kind of accident recently - total nonsense! Didn't hang about, just ended the call and blocked their number straight away. No idea where they even got my phone number from!

I picked up the phone and the call got cut straight away, seems like some kind of auto dialler to me since it probably rings loads of people and then drops the ones who aren't picked up first.

Some bloke called me up asking if I’d been in an accident lately (which is weird because I actually have). I shot back with ‘Do you even know who I am?’ and then the idiot just hung up on me.

Got the call and as soon as I answered it, they just ended it. Luckily I looked it up here first. Definitely going to block that number now! I’m registered with TPS, so isn’t this kind of call against the rules?

So weird, they actually called me by my name and claimed they knew I'd been in a car crash - which I hadn't! I got pretty angry and yelled at them. Might just start carrying a whistle to scare these lot off.

I’ve had calls from this firm a couple times lately, saying they were told I’d been in a crash or that my vehicle got damaged by someone else… problem is, I’ve never even had a car! They were pretty persistent, and I honestly don’t know how they got hold of my phone number. This time, I just ended the call straight away.

Someone called asking if I’d been in a crash in the past couple of days. When I tried to ask where they got that info from, they just kept going over the same question. They wouldn’t tell me their name and then just ended the call. I reckon this kind of call might scare people who’re more vulnerable.

They’ve rung me three times today, and every time I asked where they got my number from, they just hung up. So, I let it ring through to voicemail, and I’ve ended up with about 15 messages from the same firm, but all coming from different numbers. Very dodgy if you ask me!

Got three calls from this same number in just one hour, but I didn’t pick up my mobile. It rang on my landline, though, and when I answered, it was just some automated message!
