We've also had a run-in with this company, and they were adamant that we needed to fork out £400 in advance for a loan application. We expressed our reservations, deeming it an excessively risky proposition to hand over money before receiving anything in return. Thankfully, it appears we've dodged a bullet here. Do take heed and steer clear of what seems to be a scam; this firm has shown an unsettling tenacity in trying to reach us, bombarding us with five calls in just a couple of minutes.

We foolishly handed over £70, thinking it would sort things out. Just because you've had a dodgy experience with a company in the past doesn't mean it's bound to repeat itself, does it? We made it clear that we would only pay £70, as these folks were demanding £150 and intended to use our debit card, which is protected by security measures. They then insisted we purchase a Ukash voucher instead. Not long after, they called back, claiming we now needed to cough up £300! We flat out told them that was unacceptable and asked for a refund. They replied, saying it was impossible because of new government regulations, and suggested we reach out to them again once we could manage to scrape together the £300. Ridiculous, right?
