Received an unsolicited call out of the blue, claiming I’d been in an accident recently and that I could reclaim some insurance funds. Absolute nonsense!

I've told these lot loads of times to stop ringing me, but they just won't quit. They're always on about car crash claims or something like that. Proper annoying. I can block the numbers, but I'm just sending their calls somewhere else for now. Once they hit 30 calls, I'm gonna report them to the authorities for good.

I wasn’t sure who was calling me, so I decided to check it out here first. Based on what others have said, I’m probably just gonna block the number.

I reckon my network provider must be sharing my info somehow. I'm not gonna say who it is just in case I’m off, but I’ve got a business account with them that includes four phones. Two of those have gotten calls from this number already, and just recently I added another line with an old phone for group messaging only. Weirdly enough, that new number got a missed call from the same number too. I definitely haven’t given that new number out anywhere, so to me it looks like my provider is handing over my details. I’m planning to call them and sort this out soon.

I never share my mobile number with anyone, yet I've been getting calls from scammers, so they must just be ringing numbers at random.

For the past couple days I keep getting calls from some fool with a kids voice saying I was in a crash and it’s my fault. Problem is, I don’t even drive! I’ve blocked the number, but now they’re ringing from different ones, being rude and threatening. What total muppets!

dodgy ambulance chaser, They rang me even though my number has been on the TPS list for over a year, which I believe is breaking the law. Someone rang me asking if I'd been involved in an accident, then wanted to know the name of my solicitor's firm and whether they were registered with the Law Society. Before I could say much, the line went dead. I tried ringing back but the number wouldn't pick up. Thing is, I'm actually dealing with a solicitor right now, but my last one was terrible - they messed up my case with all sorts of paperwork errors and such, so I've reported them to the Law Society. If it was a legit company, I would have been keen to listen, but honestly, I’m not convinced at all.
