It seems that telephone companies should take action to prevent these calls, especially considering the amount of money they make from us. It is truly an annoyance. One should never disclose their phone number online, particularly when dealing with insurance companies, as they tend to sell our numbers to third parties. I have always inputted a non-existing number to avoid these unwanted calls. It's best to refrain from providing your actual number since it will only result in numerous nuisance calls.
