Got a call claiming to be from BT’s security team. Total scam! When I asked if they were calling from the UK or India, they said UK but had a really thick Indian accent. Then, as soon as I told them to take me off their list because I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, they just hung up on me. Definitely dodgy.

Got three calls within just five minutes, each time someone asking for me by name claiming to be from BT about my internet. The bloke said his name was Paul William, sounded like he had a thick Indian accent. I just hung up straight away. Then he rang back immediately, and I ended up swearing at him before cutting him off again. Lo and behold, he called a third time, I did my best Liam Neeson impression and swore once more. No idea why I even bother having a landline, nearly all the calls I get are crap like this.

This number has called me four times today, claiming to be from BT. The person on the line had quite a strong Indian accent. I told them I'm not interested and asked them to stop calling me!

Just had a rather suspect call from a bloke with a distinctly American twang claiming he was representing BT, going on about some internet issues linked to my number. I couldn't help but interject, asking, "Are you really saying you're from BT?" He adamantly replied, "Indeed," which prompted me to promptly disconnect. Absolutely ridiculous! If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, just firmly tell them to cease and hang up without a second thought. I highly recommend registering with the Telephone Preference Service to help curb this sort of nonsense. It might just save you a lot of hassle: https://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html

They’ve been ringing non stop since 8 in the morning, but every time I pick up they just cut the call straight away.

Had no clue who it was, just a dead silent phone. Since loads of folks say these calls are bogus from "BT" and we get so many of them, I'm guessing this one was a fake BT call too.

Got a call from this number claiming it was about my BT account, but I don’t have one. Considering all the different things people have said about calls from here, it’s pretty clear they’re just scammers.

Seems like yet another offshoot of the R Sole crew trying to get your details to peddle on.

I had a rather peculiar phone call from a gentleman who had an Indian or possibly Asian accent. He claimed to be representing BT and mentioned that they had been sending us messages online. He proceeded to provide me with a code, CL5iD ooco4fd7do62, asserting it would confirm his affiliation with BT. He then began inquiring about the devices I owned. Shortly after, he handed me over to a woman with a similar accent. She intended to guide me through a process to resolve some issues. However, I found her claims rather dubious and chose to hang up.

Got a call from someone who claimed they were providing boiler and home insulation deals. I told them I was going to report the number to the TPS, but then they insisted they weren’t trying to sell or market anything. I ended the call there.

Got a call claiming it was some government scheme about insulating homes and boilers. Told them I’m not interested since my boiler’s fairly new. Asked them to take me off their list, but ended up blocking the number anyway. They keep calling from different numbers trying the same thing. I just keep blocking them now - no idea if they’re legit or just another scam.

It's quite a bother, isn't it? Just when you think you've managed to block one pesky number, another one pops up like a bad penny. It feels like an endless cycle of irritation!

I was told by someone regarding a PPI claim that I could be awarded £6,000, but they were rather vague about the source of the funds. They completely avoided mentioning the name of their company and all that sort of information. Quite frustrating, really!

Got a call about some kind of PPI, but they wouldn’t tell me which bank or company was involved, just kept dodging the question.

No clue who this is, three missed calls over the past couple of days. Why bother ringing if you won’t leave a message? So frustrating.
