Couln't pick up a call from an unknown number about two hours back. I usually don’t pick up numbers I don’t recognise. Looked it up here and it seems like a scam. So, I just blocked and deleted it.

Got a call out of the blue about estate planning stuff. Honestly, it felt like such a waste of my time and I never asked for that info in the first place. Not something I wanted to deal with at all.

Got a call from 02033180937, they asked if I owned the house. When I said yes, they started talking about "planning" and mentioned something about my assets and possibly needing care, like stuff from the news. They offered to send me some info and asked if I could use a computer or smartphone. I said no, then they just said goodbye and ended the call. Feels like a scam to me.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be Sam, said he worked for some estate agency and was talking about new laws for homeowners in my area (Perthshire, Scotland). He was a bloke with an English accent and sounded really slick, maybe even a recorded message? I asked him where he got my phone number, and he just hung up straight away. Lucky I didn’t share any details, especially after reading the bad feedback people left here. Cheers for the heads up!

Got a call from someone claiming to be the Estate Planning Helpline. When they asked for my name, I told them I wasn’t giving it out. I asked why they were calling me, and they said sorry but just kept going anyway. They spoke with a British accent and said they were based in London, which caught me off guard since I usually get scam calls from overseas numbers. I didn’t bother bringing up the TPS because, honestly, it never seems to stop these sorts of shady calls.

Caller started talking about some new law that impacts homeowners. As soon as I said I was a tenant, they just dropped the call. Classic scam move, real callers would probably say sorry and keep talking.

First they asked if I could hear them, then they claimed I qualified for a government solar energy grant. It was a woman speaking, and even after I told her I wasn’t interested, she kept going on and on. I just hung up. Looking back, it was likely an automated message and some kind of scam.

I've received numerous phone calls lately, all peddling information about energy costs, lottery winnings, and just now, they're pushing broadband services. It’s quite clear they’re just after my personal details to flog to other Indian websites. From what I've gathered, the calls seem to be coming from either of two cities in India. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

I got a call from Sara Williams, claiming she was calling from some lottery syndicate. She told me I’d won free entries in a competition - which makes sense since I did enter one the day before, so they must have my info from there. It wasn’t until the very end that she mentioned there’d be a charge of around £35 a month or so. After that, someone else came on the line trying hard to persuade me to stay on board. I eventually ended the call and asked them to remove all my info, but honestly, I doubt they actually will.

So, I got a call about some sort of competition, right? I asked if it was a lottery, and as soon as I did, they just ended the call. It was one of those lottery scams telling you that you entered something, and there’s all these pop-ups on your phone saying you’ve won, but only if you sign up for things they mention on their site. Then they say you’re in line, but it’s all just a load of rubbish from scammers trying to trick you.
