Got a call earlier from someone pretending to be with Affordable Mobile, sounded Indian. I told her to shove off and find a proper job, called her a scammer, and she shot back with “You too” before hanging up. I used to be quite polite but now I’ve blocked over 300 numbers and just don’t bother anymore. Maybe if enough folks gave them a taste of their own medicine, they’d quit bothering us.

Someone asked if I’d been in a car crash. I said no, not that I’m aware of - wondered how they found out. Then she passed me to her boss, who said I'd apparently admitted to being in a wreck. I asked again, how do they know? There was a bit of back and forth and then they just hung up.

Got a call from some bloke claiming he's been seeing my missus behind my back. He seemed to know loads about her, even said they'd been involved for nearly half a year. I said no, then tried that common bit about waiting for a hospital to ring me back and needed to stay on the line, but the moment I mentioned hospital she just dropped the call. I keep getting calls from North Africa asking if I’m Mrs Baptista, which I’m definitely not and have no idea who she is. They keep calling. I just block any number doing this and never pick up if I don’t know the caller.
