My husband is quite unwell and these incessant calls are really bewildering for him. If they don't cease, I swear I'll chuck the phone out of the window; it's really reached breaking point. The phone rings every hour, for goodness' sake! The callers can barely speak English, and they’re so obscure it’s just infuriating.

I picked up the phone and greeted, "Hello," but received no response. Trying my luck once more, I echoed, "Hello." This time, a voice that sounded Indian replied with a curt, "Goodbye,” before promptly ending the call.

Without fail, right at 2pm every single day! It comes up as an international call, so we feel obliged to pick up, thinking it might be a relative living overseas. It’s a bit of a nuisance, really, especially since it’s linked to an unfortunate accident and issues with our internet connection. I’ve decided to stop responding altogether; perhaps they’ll get tired of trying their luck and leave us in peace eventually.

For weeks now, I keep getting calls from this number, sometimes two or three times a day. It’s really annoying and if I manage to figure out which company’s behind it, I’ll definitely be reporting it to the police for harassing me.

Today i got called from this number twice. The first time i picked up and just said hello, but they hung up right away. When they called back later, i stayed on the line for almost five minutes waiting for someone to say something, but then they just ended the call.

This number’s been blowing up my phone every hour for the past couple of days. Most times, there’s just silence on the other end before they hang up. Today, someone who said his name was ‘John’ picked up and claimed he was with some UK opinion survey about boilers. Not convinced that’s legit or even his real name though.

I got a call from an Asian guy named "Mike" who said he was ringing from Talk Talk. When I asked him why he was calling, he just hung up on me. Then, not even 30 minutes later, I got another call from a bloke who sounded really similar, saying there was a security issue with my Skype account. As soon as I told him I’m on the TPS register, he dropped the call again.

I've been getting calls from this number around ten times a day, and all they ever say is 'goodbye' before hanging up. It’s rather vexing, especially since I’m not feeling my best and have been receiving quite a few calls from the hospital. I've taken to answering, but it’s becoming quite bothersome. Could someone please assist in putting an end to this nuisance?

I had a rather peculiar conversation with a woman whose accent suggested she was of Asian descent. She claimed to be in the healthcare field and started probing about my wellbeing, insisting it was quite crucial. I wasn’t having any of it and kept my responses rather brief.

Got a call earlier from a man who sounded Indian. After a brief pause, he asked for a person who doesn't live here. I told him outright that no one by that name is at this number, and then he just hung up very fast.

This bloke named Steve rang me up about some boiler grants. I told him I wasn’t bothered, but he still gave me two more rings after that.

Got a call at around 3.53 pm from some bloke with a funny accent, asking for me by my name. I told him it’s the wrong person and he just hung up straight away. How are these muppets even getting hold of our details?

Typically, I let my voicemail pick up calls. I've been caught off guard by these pesky telemarketers now and again. However, a while back, a mate recommended that I engage them in lengthy chats. You know, have a bit of fun with it, and when the amusement wears off, just let the conversation dwindle away. If you play your cards right, you can spin quite an entertaining yarn!

Got two calls from this number on the 26th of August. At first there was just silence for a bit, then I heard a woman’s voice, sounded like she might be English, just say “Good bye”. Weird.

So this number flagged up as international on my phone, and I figured it might be a family member. When I answered, some Asian bloke was on the other end talking about a boiler survey. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked how he got my number, but couldn’t make out what he was saying because we’re ex-directory. Anyway, I’ve gone ahead and blocked him now.

I had an exceedingly unpleasant encounter with a rather aggressive gentleman who had a distinctly Asian accent. He barked at me not to hang up and insisted I contact my husband’s doctor's office. Upon calling the surgery, they were completely oblivious to what he was on about. It seems clear to me that he was attempting to unsettle me, probably because I wasn’t inclined to engage in conversation with him.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who was jabbering on about swapping my boiler. I told him I don’t even have a boiler but he just ignored that and kept banging on about a free replacement. I just ended the call. Looking at what others are saying, looks like this number’s linked to all sorts of dodgy scams.

A bloke of Asian descent called me up, requesting to speak to me directly and inquiring about any loans I might have, particularly regarding PPI. I told him I hadn’t taken out any loans, and just like that, he hung up. Quite the odd interaction!

Today, my elderly mother, who's 93, received a call from this unknown number. I'm absolutely baffled as to who it was and what their intentions were. It's quite concerning. How do we put an end to these types of calls? They even asked her a barrage of questions that she struggled to recall.

It’s quite clear this number is still making its presence felt...

We were led to believe we’d bought some software from Windows and received a call from something they called the Windows Refund Department. I entertained their claims, but they couldn’t provide any specifics regarding the alleged purchase. I reckon it’s high time I penned a blog about this. Definitely a scam!

Somebody rang me saying they were with the Windows Refund Team, offering to give me £200 back for a software purchase and to fix some "faulty" programme. Didn’t buy a single word of it. They kept going on and on but I just left the phone down and got on with what I was doing. Sounds like a dodgy call to me. Is there any way to report this number so it gets blocked or something?

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach Technical Centre. She said my modem was having issues and offered to guide me through some fixes. Honestly, don't pick up if you get a call from some Asian woman claiming to be from BT. She was trying her luck with me, saying there was an issue with my router and going on about the flashing lights. She told me each blink meant hackers were breaking into our system! What a load of rubbish. Proper annoying scammers! I just wish they found a proper job instead of wasting my time and probably trying to scam others as well.

I received a call from a chap of Asian descent claiming there had been a security issue with my internet. He insisted that I switch on my computer so he could "assist" me in resolving the matter. When I requested his phone number to verify his identity, he became evasive and refused to share it. Quite clearly, it was just another dodgy scam attempt!

Got a call at the office from someone claiming to be from tech support. Said he worked for BT broadband and Windows stuff. He told me my PC was full of errors and he needed to fix them, tried to take control. Was gonna install viruses or ransom me or something. No worries tho, I just put him on a virtual machine to mess with him. When he tried the ransom thing I just said nah, bye then virtual machine. He was clueless about what that even was. I told him he rang the IT support dept, he had no idea what that meant. Proper dodgy call, those scammers really annoy me!

so this guy, an asian bloke, called me claiming he was with microsoft. said there were viruses on my PC and they had to connect remotely to sort it out. i kept him chatting for a good while, just messing about really. after a bit, i told him i appreciated him staying on the line so long, cos i'd managed to track his number and the cops were now "logging into" his own system. he ended the call right away after that!

I’ve had a rather amusing encounter with some callers from Asia, and let me clarify - I’m not talking about Microsoft here, but rather their so-called “Windows” division, which appears to be affiliated with BT Broadband. When I pointed out that 'Windows' is merely an operating system developed by Microsoft, the chap on the other end insisted that he was part of both - BT Broadband and Microsoft. Honestly, it was quite the laugh! They were trying to convince me that my computer was riddled with errors and that they needed remote access to fix things, all while secretly planning to unleash some malware and extort me. The hilarious twist? I granted them access to a virtual machine instead! So there I was, having a bit of fun, I flipped the script, regained control, and secured my own systems. What a delightful turn of events!

Had a woman from India ring up saying my PC was spitting out error alerts or something daft like that. She clearly had no idea what she was yabbering on about. Played along for a bit till she passed me over to another person. Did the same with them, then she twigged I was having a laugh and got proper annoyed before hanging up. Honestly, just waste their time - they can’t stand it.

FRAUD ALERT! I’ve been on the receiving end of a rather dodgy call, seemingly from an Indian call centre, who claimed they were inundated with data streaming from my computer to their server. It’s quite clear that this is a scam aimed at getting me to visit a certain website so they can seize control of my device. In the past fortnight alone, I’ve been contacted multiple times by different numbers, all sticking to this same shoddy script. It’s become rather tiresome, to say the least!

Just like many others, I got a phone call from someone in Pakistan about my TV insurance and they asked me for my credit card info. I told them to send me the info by post and said I’d pay by cheque (which wasn’t true). They said that wasn’t possible.
