This seemed like a run-of-the-mill scam call. They acted like they were reaching out to me regarding some updates for my internet security software.

I had a phone call this morning at 11 o'clock from the number 02033074651. When I returned the call, all I got was a "hello," which felt rather suspicious, so I decided to end the call. Shortly after, they rang me back from the same number, only this time it had an ending of 52. Does anyone know who these people might be?

Earlier today, on the 20th of December, 2021, around a quarter past one, I was in the midst of patching up my antivirus software when my phone rang. The caller, from 02033 074 651, claimed to be from McAfee, insisting they needed remote access to my computer to assist with the installation of their protection software. It all seemed rather suspect, if not downright dubious! I swiftly blocked the number.

...continuing from the previous remark... Upon inquiring with the caller-who had quite a noticeable Indian accent-about the legitimacy of their affiliation with McAfee, they provided me with the number 02039 508 399. Strangely enough, that seems to be the contact for TalkTalk! Quite suspicious, I must say!
