Got a call claiming to be from HMRC and telling me to press 1 to speak with my caseworker. Felt dodgy so I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. If you’re expecting a call from HMRC, best thing is to check their official website rather than trust random phone calls.

This morning at about 7:30, I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Microsoft. She had a strong Filipina accent and didn’t seem bothered at all when I mentioned it was early morning here in the UK. I ended the call straight away.
