Got a call from someone claiming to be a forex trading firm, so I blocked their number. But the very next day, they rang me from another number. The person on the other end sounded like they were somewhere busy, maybe a call centre, because of all the noise in the background. I couldn't quite figure out who they were or what they wanted. They started off with "Hello my dear," which caught me off guard. I told them straight up that I wasn't their dear and asked who they were. They said they just called me that to be kind, but I said it didn’t come off as polite, more like assuming too much. Then I asked again where they were calling from. Suddenly, they snapped back saying "No, you’re not my dear, you’re not worth it," and then just hung up. Weird and rude!
