Could someone enlighten me on the identity of this number?

I just received a call from the very same number, and it disconnected the moment we tried to answer it. Who on earth could they be?

In my opinion, these individuals are nothing short of a bunch of fools trying to pull the wool over people's eyes. We've received calls from numbers like 01224435993, 01143049987, 01223915997, and 02033014711 while we’ve been in classes. They ring us twice and then hang up - it's incredibly annoying! It's quite amusing, really, as I too use Vodafone, albeit on a pay-as-you-go plan.

I recently received a missed call from this number. When I tried calling it back, someone picked up, but then the line went immediately to engaged tone. I'm convinced this is a scam of some sort!

This number keeps pestering me incessantly. The callers claim to have reviewed our contract and are eager to offer an upgrade. However, they are not affiliated with Phones4U, which is where our contract originates, nor are they connected to Vodafone. When I pressed them about which network they represent, they dodged the question entirely. They are clearly oblivious to any details regarding our agreement. Every time I inquire about how they obtained our information, they abruptly hang up and call back after a short while. It's utterly suspicious, and we strongly believe this is a scam.

We rarely share our phone number to avoid pesky prank calls, but with the house search on, we've been inundated with calls from various estate agents. So, when we spotted a missed call, we dialled back without really giving it much thought. Unfortunately, there was no answer, and shortly thereafter the call ended without a response. We then decided to look up the number and I’m glad we did as it seems we've dodged a bullet!

The phone started ringing, so we picked it up, only to be greeted by a cacophony of background sounds for a split second before the line went dead. I've yet to return the call, but the temptation is strong to ring them back and let these absolute nuisances know exactly where to go!

Received a call from this number, and I reckon it must be some sort of premium rate line. These folks persistently hound you on the phone, and before you know it, you’re shelling out money without consent. Best to steer clear and not answer. Total scam!

This was a local geographic number, so there's really no reason it should incur extra charges. It appears that this outfit is some sort of company that takes control of phone contracts, trying to persuade people to make the switch. My advice? Don't fall for it-it's a costly load of nonsense!

I chose not to respond since this seemed rather dodgy.

Gave them a bell and they hung up without a word. I tried calling back but just got the engaged tone repeatedly. We've encountered this with another number that started with 01243, and that call turned out to be at a premium rate. It seems like they’re trying to rack up charges by linking them to your phone number. This lot never disclose any details and claim to be a telecommunication company looking to discuss contract renewals.

We’ve now added the number to our contacts as SPAM, which means we’ll steer clear of any future calls from these folks! Much appreciated! Ta-ra! 😊

I received a rather annoying barrage of ten missed calls from this number on Monday. Fingers crossed they take the hint and leave us be!

The moment this number came through, we immediately felt uneasy as we’ve been inundated with calls lately that just hang up. What’s more infuriating is that as soon as you try to call back, you find yourself hit with extortionate charges. In a fit of annoyance, we decided to call them back from our landline, and they had the audacity to claim they were a mobile service provider. Let’s just say I gave them a piece of my mind! While I know this won’t stop their incessant calls, at least I’ve sussed out who they are now, so I’ll be ignoring any future calls. Ranting definitely lifted our spirits, that’s for sure!

Received a call from this number and it surely seems to be some sort of premium rate line. These callers persistently hound you over the phone, and before you know it, you could end up incurring hefty charges. Best to avoid answering it altogether. Absolute scam!

I received a missed call from them earlier today. I've picked up from them previously, and it turns out they are simply a company trying to persuade folks to renew their mobile contracts via them. And just to ease any concerns, there’s no need to fret about it being a premium number; 0203 is one of those recent area codes introduced for London.

Just received a call from this number! We picked up after the second ring, and all we could hear was some odd heavy breathing on the other end before the caller abruptly hung up. Quite bizarre, to say the least!

Mobiles Direct - They've called us repeatedly, insisting that our contract is nearing its end, despite the fact that it’s not even in our name! It’s rather obvious that this is a scam. These folks appear to have a multitude of different numbers, including several from Welsh area codes and some 0845 ones that have contacted us in the past.
