As soon as the person said my name without first checking who they were speaking to, I knew it was one of those annoying spam calls. I just told them they’d got the wrong number and ended the call straight away.

i keep getting calls from ricky at some company called business save. he’s always on about renewing my business gas and electric deal, says he can cut costs and somehow works with british gas. i’ve never dealt with them before and told him i’d wait till it’s time to renew and speak to british gas myself. mentioned to stop ringing me, but he’s phoned about 6 times now, roughly a month between each call. guess we’ll see if he bothers me again!
