Got a phishing call from someone pretending to be McAfee, saying my McAfee Total Protection got renewed and charged me £129.99 without my okay. They used this number in dodgy emails. I’ve just blocked it and reported the email to the National Cybercrime Centre to look into it.

I got a call from someone saying he was from Microsoft, but it was a total scam. He wanted me to pay money to get rid of hackers on my laptop. Ended up losing £120 to him. Microsoft told me he’s got nothing to do with them. Just wanted to share this in case it helps anyone else avoid it!
