Got an email supposedly from Netflix claiming to be their toll-free cancellation line. The message said it was from: Netflix, Inc. 100 New Bridge St London EC4V 6JJ, UK. It included a customer email and Customer Care Number: 020 3290 8358. The email detailed a subscription from 07/07/22 to 07/07/23 charging £399.99 on my debit card. It warned that if I hadn't authorised this payment, I had 24 hours to call that number to cancel and get a refund. Seemed fishy to me, especially with the large amount and pressure to act fast. Definitely raised some red flags about it being a scam.

someone from a phone company called me, said they had special christmas offers. could hear loads of people chatting and typing in the background like it was a big call centre. seemed a bit dodgy to me.
