Can anyone shed some light on this individual?

My father has been duped into handing over approximately £3500 over several months due to a PPI scam operating from this and similar numbers (02032906738 and 02032908394). They initially promised him a cheque for £11,000, then £13,000, and now it's supposedly £16,000-all contingent on him sending more money through UKASH. I honestly have no idea what they're telling him, but he's completely taken in by it and refuses to listen to us, his bank, or the police when we try to explain it’s a con. The names they use are awfully familiar, such as Nick Carter, Jim Morrison, and Paul Simon. It’s rather frustrating as you can never reach them directly; you have to leave a message and then wait for them to return your call, but only if they think you’re one of their unsuspecting targets! At this point, he’s run out of funds.

Beware, this is a complete scam orchestrated by call centres from India! It’s crucial not to hand over any vouchers or codes to these crooks! No bank would ever go about settling PPI refunds in this manner; they always issue payments directly to individuals. Stay vigilant!

I received a curious call from someone who says he's from some PPI headquarters - he goes by the name of Steven. Apparently, he's got a whopping £2800 waiting for me from a PPI refund linked to Black Horse Finance. To top it off, he mentioned that a chap named William Cox is supposed to deliver the cheque to my doorstep. The catch? I have to fork out a £100 UK voucher to cover administrative fees before I can get my hands on the payment. Sounds a bit fishy, doesn't it? Is this the real deal, or should I be on my guard for a potential scam?

I received a call from this number asserting they were from the PPI headquarters, and astonishingly, they claimed to have a sum of £2,800 awaiting me. However, they requested that I purchase a UK voucher valued at £100 to hand over to a chap named William Coxs, who is allegedly going to deliver the money to me. During our chat, I was connected with someone named Steven, who provided me with a reference number: 2985. I must say, this whole situation seems rather dubious!
