I received yet another message purportedly from Lloyds...
I highly doubt they would use mobile numbers to communicate.
It's likely just an amateur scammer, huddled away in a dreary little room, fantasising about treating themselves to a Big Mac.

Got a text claiming to be from Lloyds, but I seriously doubt a proper bank would use a mobile number like that. Feels like some dodgy scammer just stuck in a cramped, chilly flat, fantasising about snagging a Big Mac. Pretty pathetic, if you ask me.

Received a text indicating that a new mobile device, presumably Joe's iPhone, has been successfully registered. If this doesn't apply to you, please reach out to Lloyds using the number provided. Reference number is 94GB1.

I just got this rather suspicious message: "LIoyds: A new device named 'Joe's iPhone' has been added successfully in your app. If this wasn’t your doing, do get in touch with us without delay at 020 3290 6668 (+44 20 3290 6668 for those abroad) REF: 94GB1." I'm starting to think it’s a bit of a scam, to be honest. For reference, my mobile number is 07841 637485.

I received a message claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, but here's the kicker - I don't even hold an account with them! It certainly smacks of a scam to me.

Received a dodgy text claiming to be from Lloyds, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam. Completely the wrong number too. Which bank sends messages like that anyway?

Seems like a bank scam to me - stay clear of it. Does the police actually do anything about this stuff here?

I'd reckon it's likely some kind of bank scam, so best to steer clear.

Got a text saying it was from Lloyds bank but I don’t even use Lloyds. The message said there was a login from “Jay’s iPhone” and to ring the number if I didn’t know it. Obviously a load of rubbish and a scam.

I got a text off a mobile number saying it was Lloyds, asking me to ring a number if I didn't know about a new iPhone registered to a Joe. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.
