Had the same exact thing happen to me on 18/05/17! The bloke just wouldn’t stop going on about paysafe vouchers and delivery drivers. The more he talked, the more irritating and dodgy it sounded. What creeped me out the most though was how much of my personal info they seemed to know for real.

I'm not quite certain, but I seem to have received my payment.

I received a call recently from someone stating that there was a PPI cheque in my name. After confirming my details, they actually sent over the cheque. I find it puzzling that others seem to be complaining about this.

Someone called me saying I was due £3,100 and all I needed to do was buy some Paysave vouchers from the local shop. They promised my cheque would arrive within a couple of hours after that. But then they asked for £260 upfront, which sounded dodgy - what if the cheque never shows or bounces? The call dragged on for about 12 minutes, and even when I tried to end it politely, the person on the other end wouldn’t listen. Eventually, I just had to hang up.

I just received a rather peculiar phone call where the caller claimed they wanted to personally deliver a cheque that I'd need to sign for, along with some identification right at my front door. They seemed to know my full name, address, and even mentioned that I hold an MBNA credit card. It all felt exceedingly dodgy, so while he was chatting away, I decided to look up the number. When I pointed out that it was flagged as a scam online, he rather cheekily remarked that if I wasn’t interested in the £3100 cheque, he'd simply dispose of it. I couldn't help myself and told him he could always roll it up and smoke it!

Just got a call from 02032906469 about some ppi claim saying they'd send me a cheque for more than £3,000. They mentioned an old address of mine and even knew about a credit card I used to have. Looked up the number afterwards and I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.

This was one of those dodgy PPI scams, kinda like those fake Nigerian lottery deals where they ask ya to pay some cash first before handing over a way bigger payout. Total con!

This number rang me up and used my name, saying they were from some MBNA PPI dispatch team. They left a message asking for delivery details. I didn’t ring them back, felt fishy, so I looked them up here and sure enough, it’s a scam.

These individuals must be addressed promptly. They're tricking folks into divulging their personal information by falsely insisting that there's a cheque awaiting them. I urge everyone to refrain from sharing any details with them whatsoever.

Today, I got a phone call from a chap named Paul Simon, who had quite a strong Indian accent. He left a voicemail stating his name and claiming to be from something called PPI Claim Line. He mentioned he'd like to personally deliver a cheque for a rather significant amount, related to a credit card I've held before. After a bit of digging online, I couldn't find any trace of the company or a credible website linked to that phone number. Quite suspicious, if you ask me. I've decided against returning his call. Just a heads up, this feels like a scam!

Dodgy number! They insisted they had a PPI cheque waiting for me and wanted to drop it off personally. Quite the smooth talker, they rang me again right after I cut the call. Best to steer clear of these chancers!

Got a call from some spammer pretending they had a cheque coming my way. Told my mum to ignore it and not give out any details. Dodgy as hell, wouldn't trust em!

I recently received a call from this number claiming there’s a cheque waiting for me at the City County Court in London, and the name mentioned was Anthony Tucker. It’s clearly a scam, so steer clear of this one!
