Like others, I got a call from someone with a very English accent saying they were from HMRC. They claimed there was a case against me and told me to ring 02032906226. But when I dialled the number, it just wouldn't connect.

This number kept blowing up my phone, so I looked it up here and decided to call back. An Indian man answered, saying something about being an officer from HMRC or something like that, but honestly, I couldn't catch it all. I told him that was pretty strange since *I* work for HMRC, then he just cut the call. Proper weird!

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC and that there’s a warrant out for my arrest. Bit odd they didn’t even say my name though. Sounded like one of those recorded messages, definitely not a proper person talking.
