Got a call with nothing but silence, then it just ended with some robotic 'bye' or whatever. Proper frustrating!

Bright and early on Monday morning!

Received a call from someone keen to discuss insurance for household gadgets. I eventually told him to sod off and hung up.

I left a voicemail but could hardly make out anything because of awful background noise. Seems like a trick to get you to call the number back. Honestly, I'd avoid engaging with it.

I got a call from some bloke, reckon he was named John, and there was all this noisy chatter in the background like a call centre. He claimed my washing machine insurance was cheaper now and sounded dead pleased about it. When I didn’t want to share any info, he started moaning about me not answering properly. I asked where he got my number but he dodged the question completely. Felt like one of those dodgy sales calls to me.

Got a call from an Asian lady about some appliance cover for my washing machine. Turned out to be a total scam. I gave her a few colourful Anglo-Saxon phrases and then she quickly hung up on me.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who said my telly wasn't working properly. I just turned up the volume so he could hear it better, and guess what? He hung up on me. What a shocker.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS NUMBER! I just got a call from them, and it’s clearly linked to a scam. The caller claimed to be an Indian man named Robert. At first, that raised my suspicions straight away. Then he said he was calling on behalf of TPS, the Telephone Preference Service, telling me I could pay £60 to stop cold calls permanently. But TPS is actually free! When I asked for the company’s address, he abruptly hung up. Definitely a number to be cautious about.

Got a call from someone saying they were Sky, wanting me to renew some Sky Equipment cover I've actually not had for ages. They kept insisting I'd already paid for it through my Sky bill, but when I asked for any proof or a policy document, they just cut me off and said goodbye out of the blue.

I received a call from a woman regarding the renewal of my washing machine. I simply hung up-I've got no interest in dealing with that!

This guy called me a few times too, and each time I told him (he said his name was John) to take my number off his list and stop calling. He got quite belligerent, insisting I didn’t know the company he represented. I kept telling him to delete my number or I’d report him, but he just kept being rude, claiming I didn’t know who he was. I calmly warned him once more that I’d take action if he called again, said goodbye nicely, and ended the call. Seeing others have had issues with him doesn’t exactly come as a shock.

Someone rang me asking for a family member who actually passed away last year. I dunno who it was. When I told them, they just hung up right away without saying sorry, and now they aren’t picking up any calls.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a trusted repair company, saying the warranty on my washing machine had expired. They quickly tried to ask for my date of birth and bank info - it felt dodgy straight away. When I questioned them, they just cut the call. No website to back them up, and the callers had an Asian accent. Definitely a scam, so watch out!

I picked up the call and greeted repeatedly, but there was nothing but silence on the other end. Eventually, the call just dropped.

They called me trying to sell an extended warranty for £5 each month, but I said I was only paying £3 a month already, so then they dropped the price to £2 if I paid right then over the phone. Seemed dodgy to me, felt like a total scam.

Today, this number called me two times. The first call was stopped by my phone’s block feature. The second time, it just kept ringing until it went to voicemail but no message was left. Afterwards, I checked it on this site and decided to block it myself.

Picked up the phone and could hear loads of background noise, so I guessed it was a call centre. Weirdly, they just cut me off without saying a word. Proper irritating.

02032901020 I was expecting a call from the hospital about an important cancer appointment, but instead, I got some rubbish message. I phoned back hoping it might be what I was waiting for, but the call just rang out 12 times before disconnecting. It’s really unfair that these people mess about with everyone’s lives like this. We’re ex-directory and on the telephone preference service, so what’s the point of it all, I wonder?

I’m so fed up with these calls from who knows where. They keep ringing my landline, and my basic phone won’t even let me block them. When I pick up, there’s just silence, so I guess they want me to ring back, which would cost a fortune. I’ve never called back and never will, but they keep coming through non-stop. Seriously annoying!

Got some bloke from India trying to scam me. I told him to piss off, but he rang back again. Why the hell isn’t anyone putting a stop to this crap?

They claimed to be offering home appliance protection and went on to say my washing machine warranty was about to expire, even threw a price at me without me asking for anything. I ended up swearing at the bloke and just hung up. Then, no more than a couple of minutes later, they phoned again. Didn’t even answer the second time. I don’t own a washing machine anyway, only a washer-dryer that’s well over two and a half years old, and I haven’t got any cover on it. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

I've been receiving frequent calls from this number aimed at my elderly father, persistently inquiring about my mother who sadly passed away three years back. It’s utterly appalling - not only are they harassing him with these calls, but they’ve the audacity to mention my mum's name. It’s truly distressing for my dad, and I find this behaviour reprehensible.

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying my washing machine warranty was about to expire and I could pay a small fee to insure it. I told him my machine was over 10 years old and definitely past any warranty. He seemed a bit thrown and tried to say it must be my fridge instead. I laughed and mentioned the fridge was 7 years old. Still, he insisted I could insure it. I told him it’s paid for itself and when it breaks, I’ll just buy a new one. Then he hung up. This number calls me loads but I only picked up this once. Total scam, in my opinion.

i got a call from an asian lady who had a really british sounding name, telling me i had to pay for insurance on my fridge. sounded dodgy to me, so i told her not to bother me any more and she hung up straight away.

I received a call meant for my mother, who's already lost her life savings to these ruthless scammers. It appears they're at it again, attempting to prey on her once more. I overheard them trying to fish for sensitive personal and banking details, which is utterly disgusting. I've reported this to the police, but their response was rather lacklustre-they suggested just blocking the number. That's all well and good, but it's a luxury if you've got the means to do so!
