Absolutely ignore this number! It's definitely a scam, without a shadow of a doubt. Whatever you do, don’t engage with it! If they manage to ring you, just hang up or tell them where to go. It’s a complete con! Take this seriously and steer clear of it! 👍

I had the same thing happen to me like others have mentioned. A scary robotic voice saying it was Jennifer Brown from the Inland Revenue, which was just the last thing we wanted while we’re already waiting on HMRC to get in touch about my dad’s recent passing. I really can’t understand how these dodgy callers aren’t shut down, it’s just awful behaviour. Totally sickening! Not sure if anyone else noticed, but when I tried calling the number back from my phone, the name Yarran Global Services showed up on my screen.

I've had this same person call me twice this year, claiming to be from the tax office. The first time they rang, I got in touch with the tax office myself, and they informed me that it was a scam. They assured me that they'd never reach out by phone and would always send letters. Quite alarming, really!

Got a call from some robot voice threatening me with "consequences" if I didn’t ring back a certain number they kept going on about. They were really pushy about getting me to call that exact number. Totally a scam, watch out everyone!

I just got a call from someone claiming to be the inland revenue fraud team. I called them out straight away and they ended up hanging up on me. Honestly, watch out for this, it’s clearly a scam. They definitely picked the wrong person to mess with, I’m gonna track them down and deal with it! Ha!

I received a call from an automatic system, and the robotic voice warned me of "serious repercussions" if I didn't ring a particular number, which they kept reiterating. They seemed rather desperate for me to make that call! It's clearly a scam, so watch out, everyone!

I received a call from an officer named Jennifer Brown, claiming to be from the tax office. She reiterated the same number she'd just given me and warned me not to ignore her message. She insisted that if I didn't return the call or hear from my solicitor, I should brace myself for potential legal repercussions. I've deemed this a total scam and have since deleted it. Take care, everyone!

I got a dodgy call from this number saying I needed to ring up HMRC or face some kind of legal repercussions. Naturally, I thought I’d give them a ring back, only to be met with someone who had an Asian accent telling me to "get lost." They were clearly just pretending to be from HMRC. What a right nuisance!

My mum just had a voicemail from someone called Jennifer Brown, saying something about HMRC and needing a solicitor for tax issues. It freaked her out so much she phoned the police, who told her to report it properly. She's in her late 70s and along with my dad in their early 80s, these calls feel really wrong and worrying. Honestly, there should be more done to stop this sort of thing.

Someone calling from the US, saying they’re with the Tax Office and threatening legal trouble if either me or my lawyer didn’t contact them straight away. We’ve got no tax dealings over there, so it’s almost definitely a scam. Sounds like these folks are some kind of international fraudsters to me.

SCAMMERS FOR SURE! I was just about to call HMRC when this call came through, so the timing was suspicious as hell. While talking, I looked this number up and it creeped me out that they had some personal info about me. Proper dodgy scammers! The bloke sounded pretty convincing at first but he messed up a few things near the end, which made me rethink everything. Earlier this year I got conned by someone I knew, so I initially thought it might be linked to that. Absolute wankers. One name they mentioned was Eric Matthews. Seriously, don’t hand over a single penny to these crooks!

This has clearly been happening for ages!! How long do they reckon it takes to sort these callers out? I’ve already reported it to the Fraud helpline. Like others have said, I got a missed call followed by a robotic message saying I needed to ring back straight away about something “very urgent.” The voice said it was “Inspector Jennifer Brown from the Tax Office” and gave this number to call (02032900965). It warned if you don’t ring them back, you’d face legal trouble. Absolutely dodgy!

Absolutely awful people, worst I’ve seen. For starters, Inland Revenue never ring you up over stuff like this. And no way would they use some dodgy American robot voice to scare you. A man named Anthony Cooper, speaking with an Asian accent, called pretending to be from HMRC. He was threatening my mum with court action and even custody if she didn’t pay some made-up tax debts from 2013 to 2017 within just two hours. He started asking about her savings and how much her house was worth. She’s a retired lady and the whole thing really shook her up, it was so cruel and pointless.
