Got a call from a woman claiming she was from Sky, sounded like she was from Asia or somewhere. I told her I wasn’t bothered and just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Vodaphone about my contract - odd since I’m actually with O2, but I kept quiet. I told him I was tied up at work, and he said he’d call me again later. Of course, he never did because I’ve blocked that number now. Total scammers, absolute rubbish.

Someone pretending to be o2 called me saying my SIM is running out and they’re going to post a new one first thing tomorrow. Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with O2, but the line was super noisy like he was outside on a busy street. Plus, he had a really strong Asian accent which made me suspicious. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2, saying my SIM would stop working soon. Total scam! The merger was ages back, like a year ago, and there’s no way O2 would just switch off my SIM in a couple of days. Keep an eye out, folks!

Got a call on my mobile, turned out to be one of those dodgy scams.

Got a call supposedly from O2 about free SIM replacements to boost service. I didn’t really trust it and got put through to someone pretending to be a manager, who sounded a bit pushy. I told him I’d double-check and ring back, but then they just hung up on me. They’ve tried ringing me and my lad a few times since, but we just don’t pick up anymore.

Got a call from O2 about sending out replacement SIM cards after Virgin Media and O2 joined up. Definitely a dodgy scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2. I asked what the call was about, and they said it was just a polite check-in to see how I liked their service. Once I told them I wasn’t a customer, they just ended the call.

Got a call from this number, but my phone flagged it as spam and stopped it ringing through. It’s nearly the same as one that buzzed me the previous day, which was also marked as spam. Not answering those anymore.
