02032898492 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02032898492 👆 is reported as a persistently scam-related number frequently posing as BT, attempting to extract personal and financial details. Callers often use poor English or foreign accents, hang up abruptly, or become hostile when questioned. The number repeatedly calls multiple times daily, typically without leaving messages. Victims report silence, recorded calls, or aggressive behaviour, with some targeting elderly or vulnerable individuals. It is strongly advised not to answer, avoid sharing information, and block the number. Engaging briefly to waste scammers’ time may help deter them, but the best practice remains ignoring and reporting. Callers using this number are not affiliated with legitimate organisations, and warnings highlight serious risks of fraud and harassment.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from BT, trying to get info about my laptop and computer to "check the service". I’m not even a BT customer, so I knew it was dodgy. Told them to stop ringing me but they’ve still phoned loads of times over the past fortnight!

Whenever I get these scam calls, I like to mess about and keep ‘em on the line as long as I can. It’s a good way to stop them from moving on to someone who might actually fall for their tricks. I do this pretty often, and it feels like a small win.

If you pick up and realise it’s one of those dodgy scam calls, have a bit of fun and keep them chatting for ages. It’s a good way to stop them from reaching someone who might actually fall for it. I’ve been doing this regularly and it feels like a small win against them.

This number keeps ringing me but I never pick up. If it's important, they can just leave a voicemail, but I never get any. I looked it up on a site called 'who called me' and loads of people are saying it's a scam. I've set up a block using 1572 to divert the calls. It costs a small fee, but it's totally worth it. If they call again from a different number, I'll just block them the same way again.

I hate getting spam calls, nobody wants to deal with that annoying rubbish.

Some bloke kept repeating 'Hello Hello' with a funny accent, so I asked who he was trying to reach. He just kept saying 'Hello' again and again, which made me wonder if he didn’t get what I said or was just messing about. After a bit, he started laughing. Then I caught the noise of a call going through, so I just ended it and blocked the number. I’d avoid picking up if this number rings you - no idea what they’re after, but it’s defo not something worth bothering with.

This number is ringing my home phone a minimum of twice daily!

Had a laugh with these muppets today. Some bloke claimed he was ringing from BT offering discounts and free calls, tried to get my debit card details but I just made up some random bank info. When I called him out and said he was a scammer, he got all defensive, kept going on about charging me £20 on my bill to scare me. Absolute muppets, they should find proper jobs. The best bit is I’m not even with BT, wouldn’t be interested even if I was!

This number has called me for the fourth time now. I’ve ignored every call but I really wish they’d stop and remove me from their list. There must be some way to block these annoying calls. It makes me wonder, who’s footing the bill for these constant calls anyway?

I answered the phone and said "Hello," but there was no one there. Didn’t want to hang about so I quickly ended the call.

The conversation barely lasted a few seconds. There was a brief silence, which I know usually means it’s a scam call. The person on the other end finally said “Hello”. I waited a beat and then answered with a gruff “Hello” back. That seemed to put them off because they hung up immediately. Blocked the number straight away.

I get calls from this number a couple of times daily, and it’s quite puzzling as I'm completely in the dark about their identity. They don’t bother to leave any sort of voicemail either.

02032898492 called and got really rude when I wouldn't verify my debit card details. I told them I never share that kind of info on the phone. Then they claimed they already had it since I pay by direct debit, which is odd because the direct debit comes from my bank account, not my card. On top of that, they insisted I was the subscriber, but the number is actually registered to my husband!

Over the last few days, this number has called me three times. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam call, and honestly, I just want them to stop bothering me and take my number off their list. I’m definitely not interested.

My mum's been getting calls from this number non stop. At first, the person said they were from BT, but now they're claiming to be police officers or something! Every time she blocks one number, they just call back from a different 02 number. It's so annoying!

I chose not to pick up the phone, and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t. Looks like just another scam call. When on earth will these fools be stopped? They’re just the worst kind of pests.

Just got a call from a number almost the same as the one that rang me earlier today. Didn't pick up on either of them. Honestly, I hate how these annoying fools keep pestering everyone. Luckily, I can handle it, but for older folks or those who might be a bit confused, it’s seriously not on. Something really needs to be done to hold these troublemakers accountable. They’re just a waste of space.

Someone rang me pretending to be from BT, telling me I could get a discount. Turns out it was a total scam - they only want your bank info and absolutely aren’t from BT. I just hung up straight away, but if you’ve got time, you could string them along like I did. The bloke got proper angry when I finally called them out for being fraudsters!

I got a call just now from this number, the bloke sounded a bit foreign and called me by my name, saying it was about my BT bill. I told him I’m not a BT customer and he goes “I KNOW!!!!” Then I just talked over him and told him thanks but goodbye. So frustrating!!!

Got a call from some dodgy lot claiming I asked for 16 windows for a submarine or somethin'. Couldn’t make sense of it, so I just asked who’d even do that. They ended the call all weird like. Now they’re blacklisted. Pathetic.

My mother-in-law has been getting loads of calls lately, so I picked up for her this time. As soon as I said hello, the bloke just goes "you're not her" and then just hangs up. Proper strange!

There was some bloke on the line trying to be all intimidating, but honestly, I wasn’t having any of it. I tossed his bluff back by asking if he was gonna quiz me about some BT account I supposedly had - which I don’t 😂. Then he went off calling me a psycho and warned me to “look at your bank account in five minutes”. I just told him, “mate, I don’t even have a bank account,” and he just gave up and ended the call!

Just got a call a little while back. It was some kind of recorded message with no audio, and then it hung up saying "Goodbye." Earlier, about ten minutes before that, I received another call from a network that doesn’t show its number, warning me my phone and internet were about to be cut off and telling me to press 1. I ignored both calls. Seems like they’re probably linked.

Received calls from the same number four different times today, but each time there was silence when I answered. I tried ringing back but the line said disconnected. Honestly, I just shouted at them before they hung up. If possible, block the number. There really ought to be stricter measures against this.

Had a bloke ring me - said he was "Alex" from BT, promising free calls and no line rental for half a year. I asked for my account number to be sure, and that’s when he totally lost it. Started snapping at me, saying I was being rude for not taking up his "great deal" and told me to stop being so difficult and just listen. The more I asked for my account details, the more he got pissed off. In the end, I just gave up and hung up. Absolute s#### scammers, honestly.
