Beware of this con that claims there’s an £8000 grant from some fake UK government scheme, supposedly given to “good character” folks picked at random. When you get in touch with them, they want you to pay a fee, like £210, into a Post Office account they provide. After that, your money’s gone for good and you get zilch in return. Total rip-off.

I got a call from some UK government grants dept saying I was eligible for £8000. They told me to ring back but since then, no one has got in touch. If the government really wanted to pay me, I’d imagine they’d just post me a cheque along with a letter explaining everything.
