yep, got a call once from someone saying it was about an accident. i’ve got a few ways to deal with these pests. first, i ask them to just sing to me - that really throws them off. then, i’ll say i’ve had an accident myself and keep them hanging by putting them on hold for a couple mins every now and then or acting like the line keeps cutting out with me stammering. another trick is to claim i was in some massive crash and just keep talking over them, making up ridiculous details, so they never get a word in. it’s kinda fun winding them up like that.

Right away I knew something fishy was going on and, pretty out of character for me, I jumped right in and called them out. The person on the other end tried to say they’d had an accident recently, but I wasn’t buying it at all. I asked where they’d found my number and told them to take it off their list. After that, she just said have a nice day and hung up. I’ve blocked the number since then.

A woman rang saying she was from some place called Pronto or something, telling me I'd supposedly had an accident recently. I kept asking her how she even got my number, but she just kept talking over me. She asked if she could just confirm I'd been in an accident, so I just ended the call. Usually, I’d mess about to see what they want, but I’m so fed up with these calls now. Plus, my number’s on the TPS, so they really shouldn’t be phoning me at all.

I just got a call from this number, but after checking out this site, I realised it was a scam. Won’t be answering any future calls from it, definitely blocking it now. Cheers for the help!

got a call from some scammer who said her name was Rosy Hunter, claiming id been in a car crash. wasnt buying it so hung up and blocked the number straight away. i try really hard to keep scam calls down, but this 0203 one really caught me off guard. proper annoying!

This lady called me insisting about "some accident that wasn't my fault". I tried asking her a few things but she just didn't listen, stuck to her spiel in a pushy way. When I asked where she got my info from, she just ended the call.
