I got a call from someone called Alex Morris saying my deceased husband supposedly had a loan with pp1 under reference AM 1551. They told me they’d be posting a cheque for £1720. The cheque was originally in my husband’s name but they said they’d switch it to mine. They planned to send it via Royal Mail, then once I cashed it, they wanted £100 sent back to them using a Google Play Gift Card. It didn’t feel right to me at all, seemed fishy, so I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
