I’ve been inundated with calls from this number over the past fortnight, with them purporting to be from TalkTalk. I typically just end the call. However, today they rang again, alleging that my computer was riddled with viruses and that TalkTalk would sever my connection imminently to resolve the issue. They even had the cheek to mention my account number! I reached out to TalkTalk to flag this and they assured me it wasn't them at all. My advice? Never access your computer when chatting to these callers, as they're most likely dodgy scammers trying to fleece you of your cash.
