02032894689 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 02032894689 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving automated messages falsely claiming to be from HMRC, often delivered at odd hours including late at night or weekends. Callers impersonate officials, threatening legal action and demanding immediate response, which is inconsistent with HMRC’s genuine communication methods that rely on letters or emails. The messages frequently prompt recipients to call back, only to be met with foreign accents and unprofessional behaviour, confirming their fraudulent nature. Many people have expressed concern, especially for vulnerable individuals, about the distress caused. It is strongly advised to ignore these calls, avoid returning them, and block the number. HMRC does not operate in this manner, and official correspondence is never conducted through such aggressive automated calls.

It’s a bit odd getting a call from what sounded like the tax office at half past noon on a Saturday, especially since they didn’t say who they were. Quite unsettling, really.

Got a call just before 11pm and, bein’ self-employed, I didn’t really think much of it since it was an automated message. I’ve had dealings with HMRC before, and they certainly wouldn’t ring at that hour or use robo calls like that. Still, it was a bit creepy. Has anyone actually reported this number to HMRC? I gave it a go but ended up hangin’ on for ages and gave up.

Got a call from 02032894689 around midnight, some "Officer Sara Wilson from HMRC" said there was an urgent issue and I had to call back right away. It woke me up, which was annoying, but luckily I caught on it was a scam quite quick and just hung up before the message finished.

Got a call just after midnight, 12:25am to be exact, and it was one of those automated HMRC messages that woke us right up.

Got a dodgy call claiming it was from HMRC, definitely a scam.

Got a recorded call claiming to be from HMRC, but having spent years in an accounting firm, I know for a fact they wouldn’t get in touch like that! It’s obviously a con, so just hang up immediately and put the number on your blocked list. Such a dodgy way to make cash, and it’s really scary for those who might be more easily fooled.

This was such a cringey scam, pretending to be from HMRC and threatening court stuff - totally obvious and badly done! Honestly, it might trick some older folks though, which is really worrying.

Got a call from someone saying they were Officer Sara Wilson from HM Revenue and Customs, but it was an automated voice and honestly, it sent chills down my spine. The whole thing was pretty threatening, ending with a warning about legal troubles and a creepy “take care” as if that was supposed to be friendly! It was about 9:22pm when I got the call. I tried ringing the number back but it just came up as a mobile and said it couldn’t connect. Definitely felt fishy and not at all legit.

Got a phone call from someone pretending to be HMRC, but it was just a recorded message trying to scam me.

Without a doubt, this is a con. The tax office wouldn’t send automated threats out of the blue like that.

Got a call on the morning of 17th September 2018 around 8:45am. The voicemail sounded a lot like what others mentioned, supposedly from HMRC, kicking off with the word ‘sensitive’ and telling me to ring back a number, warning about some serious consequences. Didn’t bother listening to the full message since the style and audio quality was totally off compared to real government messages. The way it was said felt quite aggressive and nasty, definitely not the kind of call you want to get.

Got a call this morning at 9.49 from a robotic voice that sounded really aggressive. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number already.

Just like everyone else is saying, this is obviously a robo call and looks like some kinda scam to me.

Got a voicemail the other day claiming I was in trouble with a solicitor or something. The message ended strangely with "take care," which others have pointed out too. It’d be nice to imagine HMRC being that thoughtful (and to be fair, I actually find HMRC quite helpful these days), but I’m certain they wouldn’t leave a voicemail like that. So yeah, it’s obviously a scam, and not even a very convincing one.

Got a call earlier, said it was from HMRC, left a number to ring back and even gave a name to mention.

Got a robotic call claiming to be HMRC, but that’s not how they usually get in touch. Ended the call right away and blocked the number.

I get loads of these types of calls and they all feel pretty much the same. From what I’ve heard, HMRC usually contacts you through letters or emails, not over the phone. There’s tons of scams going around, so you’ve got to watch out. I know some folks have tried ringing HMRC but ended up calling this spoof number instead and mistakenly thought it was genuine. So yeah, just stay cautious with these calls.

Got a call today and just blocked the number. If it was genuinely HMRC, they’d send a letter through the post instead of leaving a robotic voicemail. Don’t fall for it.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent trying to frighten me into paying like £3999. I just kept calm and didn’t say much, then they just ended the call. Honestly, best to just block and forget about these people.

I got a call from 02032894689 just like loads of others. They said they'd take legal steps if I didn't answer, but I just chose to let it ring out. Honestly, I'd suggest anyone else do whatever you can to just ignore them too.

Today I missed a call and later listened to a voicemail they left. Towards the end, they mentioned some kind of consequences which caught my attention. I’m really glad I decided to look into it a bit more before calling back.

I'm so relieved I looked up who was calling me. Being only 18, I got really scared after hearing the voicemail, it mentioned something about legal issues! Feels good to know I'm not the only one getting calls like this.

I got a similar call, left a voicemail that sounded super robotic. The lady said her name was Sarah from HMRC and warned me not to ignore it 'cos legal stuff would follow. When I called back, some person with an accent picked up, didn’t sound legit at all, so I just hung up straight away.

I got a call saying there was a warrant out for me, and the woman’s code was HMRC24 or something. She put me on hold but then just hung up on me. Definitely a scam alert!

Got a voicemail from someone saying they were from HMRC, sounded pretty official at first. When I called back, the person on the line was hard to understand, kept going on about a warrant and that I owed £52k or something. Felt dodgy so I’ve blocked the number now, don’t want any more of that nonsense.
