So they called me saying I'd been involved in a car crash where someone hit me and they'd cover the cost of fixing my car. I just let them talk rubbish for a moment, then I said, "Wait, I own a car? You can be a passenger, riding public transport, cycling, or even just walking when a car hits you. Naturally, I decided to search for the number here and, lo and behold, it looks like it could be a scam. They must be working their way through their contacts, seeing as other people have commented just moments ago. They rang me at 11:23, and I redialled at 11:25 on Wednesday, 17th January 2018. I’ve got no acquaintances in London, that's for sure. And certainly not from BT! Just a heads up, steer clear of anyone trying to get you onto 'Team Viewer' if you're not familiar with them.
