I've just received a call from this number, but no one answered when I picked up. It's not the first time this has occurred either.

Got a call from this robotic voice warning me I'd lose my internet if I didn't answer. They kept going on about my IP being hacked or something. Total rubbish!

Yesterday, my spouse got a phone call from someone claiming to be from the accident and emergency department. She promptly disconnected the call, but it left her rather anxious about our family’s wellbeing, especially since we're both enjoying our retirement years.

I've received numerous calls over the past week, but every time, it's just silence on the other end. They don't utter a word before hanging up. Honestly, it's quite baffling-what a waste of time for these daft individuals with nothing more worthwhile to occupy their minds!

They kept ringing every single phone in our office, even though all of them are on the TPS and CPS lists. Completely ignoring the fact that we shouldn’t be getting these calls.

I've been receiving daily calls from this number for the last week, but when I pick up, they just disconnect. As someone with a disability, I really don't appreciate this unnecessary bother, especially since I'm already signed up with the Telephone Preference Service.

I received a call from someone with an Indian accent who insisted he was from the BT Technical Support team. He started claiming that there were unauthorised devices linked to my network and promised he could sort it out. When I requested his number, he provided me with this one. He then instructed me to hit the Windows key and R. It was evident to me that it was a con, yet I decided to humour him for a bit. Eventually, it dawned on him that I had a better grasp of IT than he did, and he quickly ended the call.

Got a call earlier claiming to be from Openreach at British Telecom saying my internet had been hacked. I asked for his number and he said his name was Alex Johnson, but he had quite a strong Asian accent. I just ended the call, but a 1471 check showed the number as 02130979980. Honestly, it’s frustrating how BT seems to let dodgy callers use their landlines without properly verifying them. Considering all these suspicious landline calls we’re getting, it’s like BT’s coughing up numbers to scammers! The only thing that’s actually been compromised is my unlisted phone number.

17/2/2017. J B Law Solicitors, 354 Ballards Lane, London. About as trustworthy as Tony Blair’s opinions on Brexit! I just let the Asian lady ramble on, though it was a right waste of time and I soon got fed up. Cheap accident scam, terrible spelling, total lack of believability - definitely just a bunch of amateurs.

A woman rang me up, presenting herself as a representative from a law firm's accident investigation team. I informed her that she had no authority to request my personal details over the phone, at which point she abruptly ended the call. It begs the question: how are these companies still permitted to function?

Got a call from a bloke speaking with a really thick asian accent, started off by asking how I was, then launched into that same old story about someone in the house having an accident within three years. I cut him off straight away and told him what he was doing was illegal and to never ring me again. After that, I just ended the call.

I picked up the phone, only to be met with silence-utterly infuriating! I'm really fed up with cold callers; they’ve become such a bloomin' nuisance. It’s not just the odd occasion; it feels like I'm bombarded with these calls daily. Honestly, it's quite tiresome, don't you think? Even being registered with the Telephone Preference Service doesn’t seem to deter them. They ring me on both my mobile and my landline. There needs to be some sort of action taken against these pests!

Got a call twice from an Asian bloke. First time he got my lad on the line but he just hung up. Then he rang back, talked to me, claiming he was from some road management company. Before he could go on, I told him I haven’t been in any accident or anything. As soon as I said that, he just cut me off. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

I just got a call from a guy with a thick Asian accent claiming to be from the Road Safety Department. I asked him where exactly he was calling from, because it felt dodgy. He insisted I’d been in a car accident within the last three years. I told him no, but he kept saying yes, that the damages had been paid. When I said I wasn’t interested, he swore it wasn’t a sales call and that he really was from the department. I told him he wasn’t some official and to stop pretending. He kept pushing, saying it was important and I had to listen. In the end, I just said thanks and hung up.

It took a bit of time for them to get to the point. I was greeted by an Asian-sounding voice which claimed affiliation with an Accident Claims firm. It’s quite clear these individuals are quite the busy bees. What a pity there’s no way to halt their activities. A gentleman rang me earlier today, had a distinct Indian accent, and claimed to be from something resembling the 'Incident Reporting Unit'. After his rather polite introduction, he asked how I was doing. I told him that before we delved into any casual banter, I really needed to confirm that he wasn’t just going to squander my time. He then cheekily retorted that I was the one wasting his time before abruptly hanging up! One can’t help but appreciate the audacity! I've made a note of their number for future reference.

Somebody called saying that a person at my place had a car crash in the last three years. The funny thing is, I live by myself, haven’t owned a car for close to two and a half years, and I’ve only been in a car maybe 10 times during that whole period.

This particular number has been relentless, ringing me five times or more a day while I’m at home. I’ve even had to raise my voice at them to make them cease calling, yet they just ring back with no hesitation. When I inquired about the purpose of their calls, they mentioned something about needing to report an alleged accident with injuries in order to claim compensation. It’s utterly appalling, and the incessant calls show no sign of stopping.

I picked up the phone, only for the caller to abruptly end the call on me. So, I decided to use the 1471 service to find out who it was, but the number didn't ring any bells. I always make a point of looking up unknown numbers, and it’s precisely for moments like this! Just because a number is ex-directory and on the Telephone Preference Service list doesn’t mean you’re in the clear from dodgy callers or unwanted pests. However, it does reduce the chances of being bothered, which is a bit of a relief!

Received a call today, the 9th of November, around half past five in the evening. When I picked up, I found myself having to request his name and where he was phoning from three times, as his accent was quite thick and the clatter of a call centre in the background was rather distracting. Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from some Accident Investigation Dept. I've dealt with these lot on my old number too. It's obvious they're just fishing for folks to chase up accident claims. Best just to block them straight away.

I received a call from this number earlier today at 15:35. An Indian gentleman claimed to be from a solicitor’s accident department. I'm ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so I’m baffled as to why I would be getting such a call.

I've gotten two calls from this number not long ago. I picked up today and the person on the line spoke with a pretty strong Asian accent. They said they were ringing because the "Road Safety Authority" gave them my number, claiming someone in my house was in an accident. I told them there’s no such body, I don’t even have a car, and asked them to end the call, which they did. From now on, this number’s getting blocked for sure.

Some person rang up claiming they were from an accident investigation team - reckon they must be joking since I haven’t been in any sort of crash for yonks. Complete nonsense if you ask me.

I'd steer clear of any calls from this number, as they're nothing but a dodgy scam. I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent, claiming to be from the Accident Claims department at some solicitors. Definitely felt like a con to me!

Received a call regarding an accident I didn't even have, followed by a text saying there's cash waiting from a PPI claim. Absolute morons!

I let the phone ring until the voicemail started, but they didn't leave any message.

Two rings and they cut off
It's driving me round the bend regarding an incident that never occurred
Absolute wretches!

I answered the phone thinking it was something important, but as soon as I said hello, the person on the other end just cut the call without saying a word. It was so strange.

Much like numerous others, the person on the line had an Indian accent and seemed keen to chat about a road traffic accident I had supposedly been involved in.

Received a call from 02032894455 a minute ago. It was a woman with an Indian or Asian accent, claiming they were looking into some accident that supposedly happened in my home over the past three years. I told her no one here has been involved in any accidents, and then she just ended the call.

I've received two calls from this number this week concerning a mishap that I've never even been involved in! Quite baffling, to say the least.

This number keeps ringing me even after I’ve firmly asked them to take a hike, using some rather quaint language. It’s rather infuriating! They really ought to be investigated and held accountable for their persistent attempts to scam unwary folk.

Got a call from someone who wanted to discuss an accident from the past three years. I just let them ramble on by themselves, and eventually, they gave up and ended the call after about a minute.

Saw an unknown number flashing on my phone, decided not to pick up and let it ring out. They just cut off without dropping a voicemail or anything.

Got a call at my job, no one in particular was being asked for. The connection was rubbish, but I caught a bit about an investigation team or something. Then they suddenly asked how I was doing. When I wanted to know what it was about, they asked if I’d been in any accidents during the past 3 years! Definitely blocked now.

I received a call from an Indian call centre purporting to be the Accident Claims Department associated with the Attorney General's office. I decided to hang up at that moment and promptly blocked the number.

Received a call from some dodgy scam artist claiming I’d been in an accident that I’ve never had. It was a woman on the line. I advised her to take a long hard look in the mirror and stick to her own business!

My wife was left quite distressed after receiving a call about some serious accident involving an Indian heavy vehicle. She couldn’t quite wrap her head around it and immediately tried to contact me, fearing that I might have been involved in an incident. We’ve registered our numbers with the Telephone Preference Service, so it’s incredibly frustrating that these lowlifes can still get through. They really ought to put an end to such nonsense!

got a call this afternoon around half past three from an asian lady claiming to be from the accident dept of some place called HHH or something. at first, i thought it might be the hospital cos my daughter’s abroad, and i was worried. when i asked her to repeat who she was, she said something like “bbi solicitors london.” i told her i hadn’t been in any accident and wanted no more calls from them, then hung up straight away.

Absolute charlatans on the line, pretending to discuss a car crash and threatening us with prosecution for not filing a report unless we cough up for their so-called assistance. What a joke!

Just got a call from 0203 289 4455 about some accident. I recently changed my address and this is a new landline, so looks like someone passed on my new number. I’m on the telephone preference service as well. The bloke on the phone was pretty rude too.

I constantly receive calls from this number claiming that I’ve been involved in a car accident. When I tell them that I haven’t, they keep probing, asking if I’m absolutely certain. The caller is male and has an accent that sounds Indian. I keep ending the conversation, yet they seem to ring back a few days later without fail. It’s incredibly frustrating!

It seems I've received a call from some solicitors, possibly called JDLaw or something along those lines. The chap had a strong South Asian accent, and it was quite clear he was working from a call centre. He was prattling on about an 'accident we experienced in the past two years'. Total rubbish, if you ask me!

In recent weeks, I've been inundated with calls to both my mobile and home phone. I tend to disregard the calls on my landline and reject those that come through on my mobile, yet the persistence of these calls is quite baffling!

I've had a couple of calls from 02032894455, I found out after I rang 1471. Pretty sure this number's upped me before as well. Has anyone else got calls from it? Did they leave you a voicemail? Or did you manage to chat to someone? Or maybe they just dropped the call?
