Nobody said a word, then this robotic voice just went "bye" - sounds like one of those scams like everyone else has been saying.

Total scam artists! Tried to get into my computer, no doubt fishing for bank info or gift card codes to “fix” some virus they’ve put on there. I kept pretending to go along with it, then suddenly let loose with a string of swear words and they just cut me off. Haha, got ’em!

Got a call from these lot just now, pure scam if you ask me. Don't get caught up in any of their nonsense. I’ve flagged this number to BT already. They somehow have your info and phone number and try to trick you into thinking they're here to help. I kept them on the line for a bit, then said I’d be reporting them to BT and guess what? They ended the call straight away. BT definitely wouldn’t do that sort of thing.

Got another dodgy call pretending to be from BT internet, total scam!

Somebody pretended to be from BT and gave my elderly neighbour a really hard time for over two hours. The person was saying her internet wasn’t working and tried to get her to let them onto her computer, even though she ain’t even a BT customer! I stepped in to help her out, and when they rang back, I started questioning the caller - they soon hung up. I can’t even imagine what might’ve happened if she’d fallen for their tricks. The poor woman was crying and proper shaken up. These scammers are the worst, honestly, they deserve serious punishment.

got a call from someone saying they were a bt broadband engineer nearby, saying there was an issue they needed to sort out. I told them I don’t have bt broadband. they just kept saying everyone in the UK uses bt, like they didn’t even realise it’s called openreach these days. bit dodgy if u ask me!

Got a call from this number twice within just five minutes, and each time as soon as I picked up, the line went dead straight away.

Beware of scam calls pretending to be from BT internet, got one today and it was very suspicious. Definitely don’t give out any personal details if you get a call like that!
