CAUTION: SCAM ALERT! I've been inundated with calls from this number until I finally decided to block it! They claimed to be from BT, warning me that my internet would be cut off today due to some alleged unauthorised activity and supposed viruses on my device. I reached out to BT directly, and they assured me it was all a ruse! It's disheartening to see the rise in such scams lately. I’ve just received a call of a similar nature - a chap named Mike Dawson claiming he’s from BT, saying there’s an issue with my connection. It was obviously from an overseas call centre; the background noise was quite chaotic. What struck me as odd was that they didn’t even bother to ask any security questions. Definitely raised my suspicions!
