Got a cold call today and the person on the line got really pushy when I said I didn’t want my number taken off their list. They kept shouting things like “Just listen to me, will you!” which was pretty aggressive. I hung up straight away. Then they rang me again, still going on about listening to them. So, I cut the call again and blocked the number afterwards.

So, this number gave me a silent ring just yesterday. From what I’ve seen in other reviews, it’s probably one of those dodgy accident claim firms, who seem to use shady tactics like possibly autodialling loads of numbers illegally and maybe even lying to get folks hooked.
I read about a bloke who dealt with these calls by playing along, saying he had been in a crash, kept them chatting, then claimed he’d actually died in that accident when they asked about injuries... absolute legend, that guy!

A young woman’s voice claimed they knew I was involved in a car crash. Thing is, I haven’t had any accident at all. I asked her how they got my phone number.
