12 yearsDoes anyone know who this might be?13 yearsGave our mobile a ring.13 yearsDoes anyone have a clue whats happening with all these scammers lately?13 yearsThey rang me claiming to be from something called ‘Quick Loan’. They promised me £5000, just asking for a month’s payment upfront. After that, they then said I needed to send more money through Western Union, which I did - felt like a right mug. They assured me once that payment was done, the cash would be in my bank. But they kept ringing, telling me the money got sent back, then asked for extra payment again. I told them I ain’t got any more to give. The calls kept coming, so I told them I’d contacted the police and I no longer want the loan, to quit ringing me. Please don’t fall for this scam like I nearly did. They sound like they’re from India, by the way. They asked for some fees upfront, which I foolishly paid, being told the cash would be in my account soon after. But of course, the money never showed up. Then, they rang back asking for even more money.
