My HP printer suddenly stopped working and gave an error about a missing driver. I looked online for some support and rang this number. A guy with an Indian accent answered and asked if he could take control of my computer, which I let him do. He spent a couple of minutes moving the cursor around my emails, calendar, and various apps before showing me a screen full of code, pointing out one line. According to him, a recent Microsoft update had deleted the printer driver. He then suggested hiring a Microsoft technician for £100 and also recommended installing McAffee antivirus. I wasn’t convinced and decided to search up the number 020 3287 9144 on Google. Definitely feels dodgy...

Got a call from someone saying they were with Royal Mail about a delivery, but when I asked where the parcel was coming from, they couldn’t tell me, just mentioned it had an Amazon sticker on it! When I asked how they got my number, they said it was on the parcel info? Odd, my number’s there but no address! Called them out on that and they just hung up on me. Watch out folks, seems dodgy.

Got a call from someone saying they were Royal Mail, about a parcel. When I asked where the parcel was from, they couldn’t say but mentioned it had an Amazon label on it! I then asked how they got my number and they claimed it was from the info on the parcel? Weird, my number but no address on it!! I called them out and they just hung up on me. Watch out folks, this sounds dodgy.

I checked with mobiles[###] themselves, and they have no link to this number. The company is genuine but not this phone number. Watch out for this number, it’s dodgy.
