Got a call from someone saying they were Tesco Mobile and kept calling me ma'am. I told them I’m not with O2 and that I wasn’t falling for their tricks. Then they just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with V4 phone company, trying to sell me phone blockers for £120. Seems dodgy to me since usually they cost about £30. Feels like a scam to be honest.

I got a call earlier from a bloke asking for info about my visa card. He seemed to have a bit of my details already, but I wasn't having any of it and didn’t share anything further. When I asked who he was and what company he worked for, he gave the name Blaine Webb and said he was with True Call Blocker LLC, giving me the number 02032877173. Something about it felt dodgy, so I didn’t bother calling back.

He knew my address and other stuff, but asked when my contract finished. I saved his number and checked it here, definitely seems sketchy to me.

Funny enough, this bloke was trying to sell me a way to block annoying calls. He asked for my bank card details and said he’d send a gadget to stop those pesky calls, charging a one-time fee of £129 - which he claimed was a bargain compared to the £25 a month I was supposedly paying (which I definitely wasn’t!). I fed him fake card info and it threw him right off. I kept him going for about 40 minutes before he caught on that I was having a laugh with him! He sounded proper annoyed by the end, and honestly, I was well pleased.
