1 yearGot roped into a dodgy scheme recently. Received a call from someone claiming to be from O2, saying they'd send me a smartwatch as a nice gesture because of some issues I'd had. Turns out, they'd somehow gained access to my account and put through an order for an iPhone 16 Pro on contract. Without really considering it, I agreed to have the phone sent back. Now I’m stuck possibly having to pay for it but won't get the phone itself. I'm trying to sort things out by speaking with O2 to see what can be done.2 yearsJust like others have mentioned before, I got a PayPal invoice saying I purchased an iPhone on eBay for £600. It said it’d be sent out soon and if I didn’t do it, to ring this number. Definitely seems dodgy to me.3 yearsGot an email that looked like it was from eBay, saying I ordered a watch with a bill showing the cost plus shipping (which was nearly the same). It told me to ring a number if I hadn’t made the purchase - total delivery scam. Thankfully, it got caught by my spam filter straight away.3 yearsGot this message today: Hi, thanks for buying from eBay! Your order is confirmed. Keep this Pay ID #YF6Q68HFK5458 for your reference. If you didn’t order anything, ring us straight away on +44 20 3287 5520 to get in touch with our fraud team. But honestly, this is just a scam.3 yearsGot a call from +44 20 3287 5520 about some parcel delivery I definitely didn’t ask for - sounds like another dodgy scam to me.3 yearsThis was definitely a scam, don’t trust it!3 yearsBeware of this number, it's part of an eBay scam going around.
