Yeah... we got ripped off by these lot to the tune of £2325. Been in contact with TDL Transport Ltd, supposedly their finance team. We even checked Companies House but still ended up losing a lot. Really gutted about it.

Some bloke with an Asian accent called me saying there’s a warrant out for my arrest and asked if I had a lawyer. I said no, and they said it was about overpaid tax or something! I told him I’d pay the £3280 and wait for court. Then he shouted something about having the cops round my place, calling me a f###ker! I rang back and got someone else who started rattling off a badge number. Next thing, they were trying to get my birth date, bank details and where I live. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Claimed I was denied a loan but he said he was the company itself, not just a middleman, and insisted I had to accept the loan or else I'd be charged for wasting his firm's time! An Asian bloke called Nicholas wanted my bank details, then said he’d take the money regardless ?? Proper angry that folks might fall for this! Just like loads of others, I’ve got an ad up on Gumtree, got a call from this guy. First time I told him straight to take my number off his call list and then I hung up. Just seconds after I posted an ad on Gumtree, I received a phone call from an Asian gentleman. When I inquired if he called to ask about a motor accident, he responded by expressing interest in viewing the item I had for sale, even though he was calling from a London phone number. Before ending the call, he burst into laughter. It's quite unfortunate that such behavior is permitted.

Fraud: Once Again Dealing with Deceptive Accident Claims

I was informed that I was eligible for compensation following a car accident, but I never actually had one. I feel sympathy for the individuals responsible for handling such matters, and I would like to express my concerns to their employers.

Put up an ad on Gumtree and literally got loads of calls from this number straight away. When I finally picked up, I pretended to be some sort of automated adult chat charging £5 a minute. They hung up pretty quick and never rang me back afterwards ????

Just like many others, I put up an ad on Gumtree and less than a minute later, some bloke from India rings me up talking about a crash I supposedly had in the past three years (which, obviously, never happened). Honestly, Gumtree, sort this out!

Received a call right after I put up an ad on Gumtree. Some bloke with an accent, maybe Pakistani or Indian, claimed to be from the National Accident Helpline. Yeah, right, I dont buy it. The National Accident Helpline wouldnt risk calling random folks cold, especially if they’re on the TPS list. Shows how dodgy these lot really are. Total scam artists, honestly.

Really weird, I got a call like a minute after putting up my car ad on Gumtree. Some guy from London with a Pakistani accent doing the classic accident claim scam. Just a straightforward tip to dodge these tricks - if the call’s from Pakistan or India, just hang up! In my experience, most of what comes from those places are just scams, lies and deceit. I was proper laughing when I picked up, completely unprofessional. If they’re gonna scam people, they need to step up their game big time.

A chap from London here, dealing with the typical nonsense from those accident claim spammers! Here’s a little tip to steer clear of being swindled - if the person on the other end is from Pakistan or India, just end the call! These places seem to churn out nothing but deceit, trickery, and all manner of unsavoury behaviour! Honestly, I couldn’t help but chuckle when I picked up; it was all so dreadfully unprofessional. If they fancy roping in unsuspecting folks, they really need to step up their game!

It’s a complete laugh, literally just posted on Gumtree and within 2 minutes got 3 calls asking if I’d been in an accident. They really shouldn’t be giving my number out to these sorts of firms!!!

I have received 7 calls in just 10 minutes regarding a car accident that I have never been involved in. It's frustrating because I have registered my number on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to avoid such nuisance calls. I can't understand why I am still getting these unwanted calls. It's really ridiculous.

I received a rather unpleasant phone call from this number earlier on. Unfortunately, I've got a sore throat at the moment, so communicating clearly is a bit of a challenge. The chap on the line, instead of being helpful, ended up telling me to 'get lost' and referred to me as a 'fool' - claiming to represent some accident claims firm. Just what I needed, right? I've just got another frequent call from this particular number, where they inquire about my car accident. Despite my repeated requests to have my name taken off their list, they continue contacting me. Today, I decided to try a different approach with the man on the line. I informed him that I had passed away in the accident. Surprisingly, he responded by stating that I might be able to receive compensation of up to £4250. When he inquired about the details of the accident, I informed him that I couldn't provide any as I was deceased. Rather shockingly, his response consisted of uttering offensive language targeted towards me.

It's shocking how quick they are to grab your number off Gumtree, called me in a heartbeat! They used my name from the ad and started saying the most vile stuff about wanting to f#ck MY P#ssy AND SUCK HIS BALLS. Do not pick up, it's totally revolting!

Had a ring but ignored it, figured it'd be some rubbish about a crash or something mad like I'd forgotten. It went to voicemail, just loads of noisy voices that sounded Asian for few mins. Pretty obvious scam trying to rope me into using their dodgy offers. Got the number blocked now. Shame they can’t find a proper way to make a few quid.

Barely 30 seconds after putting my ad up on Gumtree and I got three calls straight away, two of them from these complete losers and another one from some tosser in Liverpool! Do they really reckon I’m daft enough to fall for this crap? Didn’t even pick up cos it was pretty clear it was a scam, not a genuine buyer. Honestly, this is why I try to avoid Gumtree whenever possible - so many muppets on there!
