Today I got a call from 0098306529 (check out the other reviews about this number) and when I asked where they were ringing from, they said it was 020 3287 2050. Even then, I wasn’t convinced at all.

I received a call from 02064339157, and the person on the other end urged me to ring a specific number to claim £8000 through some supposed government programme. Honestly, it felt like a massive con.

Called up and was told, "You could qualify for a £2,000 grant, just call this number." When they did, they were met with quite an impolite lady on the other end.

I recently received a request to ring the number 02032872050, claiming I could secure an £8000 grant for my exemplary citizenship. Is this just a dodgy con?

Got a call like this today too. They asked for my secret code, AV 550, and told me to ring 0203 287 2050. I ignored it, and then they phoned back, wondering why I hadn’t called their number. When I told them I wasn’t daft enough to fall for a scam, the woman said she’d keep ringing me until I did. I told her she could forget about the grant, and she hung up threatening me. Honestly, she was pretty nasty, but I couldn’t care less about her attitude. Total SCAM.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming my family had bagged an £8000 grant from the government for being model citizens. Said we could spend it on whatever we liked, as long as it wasn’t dodgy. He gave me some sort of approval code and a number to ring back. Classic scam, same old story. Think I’ll pass the number to my dad, he’s brilliant at messing about with these types!

Almost the same thing happened to me today, 31st August at about 2:53pm. An Asian bloke rang up saying I'd been granted £8,000 as a reward for being loyal to the government (that would be me, apparently) to spend however I liked, as long as it wasn’t anything dodgy. They gave me a number to ring back along with some Grant Approval ID - 34DV678, I think. I just ignored it and didn’t bother calling. The caller ID was showing something like International 001019786.

I received a message urging me to ring this number to claim an £8000 grant, complete with a code I was supposed to mention. However, I chose not to pursue it.

Got a call from some bloke named Steve saying I could get an £8000 grant for being such a good lad, paying my taxes every time and never having any criminal record (yeah right, he was way off - I’ve got a few scratches on my record). He claimed he was ringing from London (definitely not). Called back immediately? Nah, not a chance!

I received a similar call myself, informing me that I was eligible for a grant due to my exemplary citizenship. They insisted that I must ring this number to proceed with the claim. What a peculiar situation!

My elderly mum got a call today from this number 02032872050, and it was a woman with an asian accent. She told mum she was eligible for a government grant worth £8,000. Then she asked mum where the nearest post office was. They told her to pop to the post office and withdraw £210 cash, then ring them back on that same number but to keep it a secret. Luckily, my mum found the whole thing a bit strange and didn’t do anything, otherwise they would have stolen cash from her for sure. It's just terrible how these scammers work.

I got a call saying I’d been picked for this £8000 UK government loyalty grant, but there’s no such thing at all. Watch out for these call centres, often based in Asia, they’re just trying to scam you out of your cash. Don’t fall for it!

Just like the others here, I decided to call back for a bit of fun. I ended up speaking with Florence Berry, who got really nasty once she realised we weren’t fooled. Afterwards, she phoned back and left a rude voicemail, even tried keeping the line busy so we couldn’t make any calls. Proper dodgy behaviour.

Avoid ringing this number as it’ll probably land you on a list that gets you bombarded with tons more calls. There’s no way anyone’s just handing out £8000 for nothing. Just watch out for yourself.

Yesterday, this number rang my elderly mum and told her she'd get £3,000 just for not having a criminal record or bankruptcy. They said she needed to call someone named 'Florence' at 9.15am on Monday. Luckily, I keep in close contact with her, otherwise she might have actually called them.

I decided to ring the number just for a bit of fun. The woman who answered was absolutely furious when I jokingly called her a fraudster. Obviously, it was some kind of scam, but it felt good to keep them hanging around for a bit!

Someone reached out to me saying I could call this number to claim an £8000 grant from the government for my exemplary behaviour as a citizen-apparently, I've got a clean slate.
LOL, as if! It’s clearly a con.
Needless to say, I didn’t bother to ring it.

Just got a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Grants and Treasury Dept, offering me £8000 for some home improvement scheme because apparently I'm a "good citizen". It was clear to me right away it was a scam - I’m not some foreign place asking for aid they don’t deserve, nor am I from a corrupt country like Nigeria or something. Honestly, the British Government needs to get on top of this rubbish quicker, we’d all be better off for it.

Got a call from a withheld number, sounded like an Asian accent. They were saying I’d been awarded £8,000 for being a good citizen, and told me to ring 02032872050 with a claim reference to get the money. Yeah right! Like I’m gonna fall for that! Didn’t even bother calling them back!

I got a call from someone called "George Henderson" too. I played along to find out what story he was spinning, and I reckon it’s just a trick to steal bank info or get you to put money into some fake account. Makes me sad thinking about older or vulnerable folks who might actually believe it. Like the Government would just hand out free money, honestly!

Wait, so the UK government is apparently handing out £8,000 to well-behaved citizens? Is that for real?

Got a call from some bloke called Mark Butler, number looked like it's 'out of area', saying I'm getting £8000 for being a good citizen (which I guess I am). They told me to call Florence Parry on 0203 2872050 to claim my ‘gov’ cheque. I don’t quite get how these scams work, but honestly, do governments just hand out taxpayers’ cash like that? I bloody hope not!

Got a call from some woman and I just kept her chatting for ages. Asked if her mum and dad knew about her job, she said they didn’t like it. Felt like a waste of time really.

Watch out, it's a total SCAM. Someone pretending to be from the government grants office told me I could get £8000 to use however I wanted and to ring Florence on 02032872050. They said I wouldn’t be charged for calling back, but after looking up this number on here first, it’s clear it’s dodgy. Don’t fall for it, stay safe!

Got a call from this number: 0002389001, some bloke with an Asian accent said I’d won £8000 from the government. He gave me some code and said to ring his manager at 0203 287 2050. Seems like it’s a dodgy premium rate line, honestly, steer clear of calling back!

Got a call from some bloke named Alexander saying I’d been given £8,000 by some UK government grant thing(customs or something). He claimed it was because I always paid my bills on time and had a good score. When I asked him some questions, he couldn't really explain anything. He gave me a code plus a number to call back on, 0203 287 20350, and said to ask for Florence. Pretty sure it’s a scam but I played along a bit to warn others. Watch out, folks!

Got a call from a bloke saying I qualified for some kind of personal loyalty grant from the government for being a good citizen?? I was told the money would come by cheque since I didn’t want to share my bank info. Then he told me to call 02032872050 and use an activation code. Sounds exactly like the scam others mentioned for the number 0002389001076!!

I got a call from the number 0002389001076 earlier, and when they rang me again I said I’d spoken to my brother who used to be a cop, and that he reckoned it was a scam. After hearing that, the person on the other end said it was my decision and then just hung up straight away.
