Got a call from someone saying they were with Cannon, saying they could sort out my printer and computer issues. They wanted to get remote access to my computer, which felt a bit off. When I called them out on it, they just ended the call straight away.

A woman called saying she was with Three and had a deal for unlimited texts, calls, and data at just £5. She seemed a bit clueless though, so I’m pretty certain it’s a scam!

Got a call from a lady claiming she was with my phone company, saying I’d been chosen for a 40% discount on my bill. She wanted my memorable word for verification. When I asked who she was trying to reach, she said she couldn’t share my name because of data privacy rules. Oddly enough, I’d just received an email from my provider to change my password. It all felt dodgy, so I ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a woman but my phone was on silent with do not disturb turned on so it just went to voicemail. She said she’s been trying to reach me for the past couple of days about some complaint I supposedly made. She dropped a mobile number to call her back but I ignored it since I never made any complaints or spoke to any businesses recently.

A woman with an accent called me, said her name was Emma and that she was ringing from Royal Mail about a parcel I needed to collect by following certain steps. I was quite suspicious so asked where the parcel was being delivered to, but she said she didn’t have that info. Then I asked how I could be sure she was actually from Royal Mail, and she told me to just ring back later. When I requested a reference number to quote, she told me to simply ask for Emma. I told her Royal Mail would definitely have a proper reference number, and at that point, she just ended the call!

I got a call from a lady claiming she was with Royal Mail. My phone flagged it as a likely scam. She told me I had to pay £1.50 for a parcel delivery because the sender hadn't covered the UK postage. Since I was waiting for something from abroad, I gave her my email. But when I checked the email she sent, the address looked close to Royal Mail's but wasn’t exactly right. I ended up reporting it as a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Royal Mail, but they already had my name and mobile number which seemed odd. They told me there was a parcel waiting that missed a stamp and asked if I wanted to pay £1.55 to get it sent. I immediately called it out as a scam and ended the call.

Got a call on Saturday from someone saying they were with the Royal Mail branch in Highbury about a parcel. They asked for my email to send an invoice, but I said I wasn’t expecting anything so I wouldn’t give it out. Right after that, they just ended the call. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Got a phone call from this number telling me there was a delivery for me and to follow the steps they’d send over to get it. When I asked for an email address, I said I don’t use one, and the person actually went, “You don’t have an email in this day and age?” They ended up sending a dodgy link by email. Total scam!

Some woman called saying she was from Royal Mail, trying to sound legit. She asked for my email so she could supposedly send a message with a link. When I got it, it asked me to enter my card details to pay a fee for a parcel someone supposedly didn't cover. I knew it was dodgy because the tracking number she gave didn't show up at all on the official Royal Mail site. Definitely a scam.

Got a call claiming to be from Royal Mail, saying I needed to pay an extra £1.55 to get a parcel out of their London depot. The person on the phone had a noticeable foreign accent. It felt dodgy since Royal Mail usually just leaves a card if there’s an extra fee and keeps the package at your local depot. Definitely a scam!

I kept getting calls from this number, even when I ignored them. Some rings woke me up in the middle of the night, like at 2 in the morning, which was so frustrating. When I finally picked up, a woman said she was from Halifax bank. She claimed I had opened an account and asked me for my password to "sort something out" on it. I said I needed to check with the bank first and as soon as I mentioned that, she ended the call. Honestly, never give away info or even start chatting when someone says they're from a bank or anything like that. Stay safe!

Got a call from a woman who said she was with royal mail, telling me there was a package in my name that hadn’t been stamped properly. She offered to sort the delivery if I wanted, but asked for my email to send over the tracking and other stuff. I told her I wasn’t waiting for any parcels and didn’t trust what she was saying. She then warned me my parcel would be thrown away if I didn’t cooperate. Bit suspicious if you ask me!

Got a call from a woman pretending to be from Royal Mail saying there was a parcel for me and she wanted my email to send me tracking details. Got a call from a woman who said she was with Royal Mail and that there was a parcel waiting, but I needed to pay for the delivery or get tracking info. Afterwards she sent me a text with a link, but the sender was ‘OFFICE267’, which I knew wasn’t the usual number Royal Mail uses. Something felt off straight away, so I told her I’d just collect the parcel myself. She gave me an address for the Highbury Depot, which is nowhere near me. When I asked if they could move it to a depot closer, she sounded really annoyed, said it was ‘not her problem’, and then just hung up on me. Bit fishy if you ask me.
