Received a rather peculiar phone call from someone purporting to be from the City County Court in London, suggesting that there was a cheque that I needed to collect. Quite the odd affair!

I had a rather akin incident recently. I stumbled across Techvedic online and they attended to a few issues on my computer for approximately £150. Fast forward a bit, and I started receiving calls from individuals claiming to be from Techvedic, including one Rahul, followed by a fellow named Mark McIntyre, who had a strong Indian accent. They were offering to refund my payment via U Cash, which I politely declined, insisting instead on receiving cash in rupee notes. Remarkably, he then told me to do something quite inappropriate and promptly terminated the call.

I've received calls from these folks on multiple occasions, claiming they could sort out my computer issues remotely. They stated they were from a company called Tech Vedic. Curious, I reached out to Tech Vedic directly and passed along the phone number they used, only to find out that it wasn't one of theirs. Just moments ago, that same number called again. When I informed the caller of my findings regarding Tech Vedic, he seemed rather perturbed and ended the call abruptly. I'd advise everyone to exercise caution with these sorts of calls!

I recently encountered a service from a company named Tech Vedic, which hails from India. They attempt to swindle individuals by fabricating computer problems. It's best to steer clear of them altogether. I've taken the liberty of notifying MasterCard about this dubious outfit.

I’ve had an interesting encounter with a company purporting to be part of BT’s telecom services, claiming they needed access to my computer. However, after a chat with BT's customer service, they categorically dismissed this assertion, clarifying that BT exclusively utilises 0800 numbers for customer communications. Quite the suspicious situation, wouldn’t you agree?
