Phone number ☎️ 02032871141 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving callers impersonating Royal Mail or HM Revenue and Customs, often using the victim’s real name and phone number to lend credibility. The callers claim a parcel is held due to unpaid postage or customs fees, requesting small payments or personal details, sometimes pressing for email addresses to send payment links. They frequently hang up abruptly when questioned about parcel or sender details, or when challenged. Many warn against providing any payment or personal information, advising to block the number and report suspicious calls. The scam exploits the expectation of parcel deliveries and employs varying accents or automated voices, with no legitimate Royal Mail procedure involving phone requests for postage payment. Caution and verification through official channels are strongly recommended.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Royal Mail, stating they had a parcel for me in London. To be honest, from what I've seen, Royal Mail usually excels at delivering parcels within a reasonable distance of their intended recipients 😂. They requested my email address, but I provided them with a fake one, and then they promptly ended the call.

Got a call from 0203287114 claiming to be Royal Mail. They already had my name, the weird bit was when I told them I wasn’t waiting on any delivery, they just cut me off. Definite scam vibes.

Somebody rang me telling me I needed to pay postage for a parcel. When I asked them to confirm my postcode, she said she had no idea. Then I asked how they even got my number in the first place and she replied it was on the parcel, which sounded weird. I then pointed out it was odd she had my phone number but not my address, and she just stammered. Told her to just send it back to the sender. Pretty sure this is a scam.

I received a call from this number, and it turned out to be a scam. A woman, who appeared to know both my name and mobile number, claimed she was representative of Royal Mail, saying there was a parcel awaiting instructions for me to clear. First of all, there’s absolutely no way they could have my number. Secondly, none of my queries were addressed, and the moment I hesitated to comply, they abruptly ended the call. I suspect the woman's voice was generated by a program, as it didn't sound entirely genuine. The way she pronounced my last name was quite peculiar and oddly stilted.

This is definitely a scam! They've swindled money right out of my credit card. Just a heads up to everyone-don’t engage with these people. I've already reported it, and an inquiry is underway. They posed as representatives of Royal Mail and managed to pilfer £480 from me after I foolishly shared my payment details. Stay vigilant, folks!

Received a call purporting to be from Royal Mail, and they seemed to know my name and phone number - which bewildered me since I’ve never shared my number with them on any parcels. The caller claimed a parcel of mine was awaiting postage payment. I mentioned that I’d expect a card through the letterbox from Royal Mail if that were true, and I'd settle any fees directly at the post office. Once I said that, they abruptly ended the conversation. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from Royal Mail, stating that I have a parcel held up at a depot in South London that requires payment for delivery. When I mentioned that I actually reside nowhere near South London, they abruptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, I'd say!

I had a rather dubious phone call earlier, claiming that a parcel was waiting for me at some vague Royal Mail location in London, referred to as 'Dee po'. If I'm not mistaken, Royal Mail operates sorting centres, and there shouldn't be any postage fees involved. The caller insisted that if I provided my card details for a mere £1.50, they could facilitate the release of this elusive package. Alternatively, if I shared my email, they'd send me the specifics for payment, all the while risking my laptop or phone being compromised. I promptly ended the conversation, but I can easily envision some unsuspecting individuals falling for this ruse. Despite her dodgy accent, she was surprisingly persuasive.

Just like the rest, really. Received a call informing me that a package was being held and I needed to settle £1.40. When I asked her for either my address or the sender's details, she couldn’t provide either. I suspected it was a scam, so I ended the call. Turns out, I wasn't mistaken after all!

I received a call earlier from a lady claiming to be from Royal Mail. Her English was quite limited, and she mentioned needing a payment of £1 and £65 (not just a few pence) for customs clearance. When I asked her for the sender's or recipient's address, she wasn't able to provide that information. I told her I couldn't approve any payment without knowing what it was for, so I proposed that she send me an email with the necessary details. After that, she just ended the call abruptly.

I received a call from a woman claiming to be from Royal Mail, and she startled me by knowing both my name and surname. She insisted that I should start the process to retrieve a lost package. Naturally, I inquired about the sender’s details, but she dodged my question. When I pressed her again for this crucial information, she abruptly hung up on me! Now I can’t shake off this uneasy feeling, worried about my personal information potentially being misused. 😟

I received a rather dubious call from this number. An Asian woman on the line spoke so fast that I could hardly make sense of it. When I asked her to repeat herself, she claimed to be from ‘Riyal Mail’ and mentioned an Apple product supposedly waiting for me. I couldn’t believe my ears, so I promptly informed her that I wasn't expecting any deliveries and told her to pack it in with the nonsense. Before she could get another word out, I hung up. The number was 020 3287 1141. It’s absolutely appalling how these con artists operate. Something needs to be done about these scammers. Just a heads up to everyone, there are plenty of them lurking around. Stay safe!

I received a call from this number purporting to be Royal Mail, and I felt quite pressed to cough up some cash for a parcel they claimed was unstamped. Given that I was anticipating a delivery from an old mate, I momentarily believed it could be true, assuming perhaps they’d forgotten a wee stamp. I proceeded with the payment, but thankfully, just before entering the authorisation code, I decided to Google the number. To my relief, I discovered it was a scam! I quickly halted the payment. I'm immensely grateful to those who flagged this number before me; you've undoubtedly spared me from a right hassle. Cheers, everyone!

I've just had a rather dubious phone call, supposedly from Royal Mail. They were pressing me for my payment information for a package that apparently didn’t have a stamp on it. They claimed their address was the sorting office at 53 Nine Elms Lane. However, upon checking, I discovered that the place has actually been sold off and is on the verge of being torn down for some new development. *Be wary and don't share your personal information with strangers who ring you unexpectedly. *Always refrain from divulging any financial details over the phone!

I received a rather suspicious call from someone purporting to be from Royal Mail, insisting that there was a parcel waiting for me at the Nine Elms Lane Mail Centre due to a shortfall in postage fees. It’s clearly a scam, as a) Royal Mail has no way of obtaining my phone number to inform me directly about a parcel, and b) in cases where postage is insufficient, Royal Mail typically drops a card through my letterbox to inform me, along with instructions on how to pay and collect the item from the nearest depot. Be very wary of such calls!

I received a call from a woman with a foreign accent who had my name but her location was baffling. She mentioned something about a parcel being held and offered to provide instructions to retrieve it. I pressed her for specifics about the package, and she claimed it was an Amazon delivery weighing a whopping 75kg, marked with the initials AJ-definitely not mine! I figured she was joking and swiftly ended the call. What a right carry-on!

I received a call from someone masquerading as a representative from Royal Mail, claiming I needed to cough up a quid for postage. I firmly told them to either return the parcel or simply drop a card through my letterbox, as is their usual protocol. They attempted to cut me off with some excuse about COVID, which really riled me up. I told them quite bluntly not to interrupt and made it clear they were up to no good. I told them to take a hike! They’re rather fortunate I was in a decent frame of mind; I've been known to keep these chancers chatting on the line just for fun. Utterly fraudulent, if you ask me!

I received a call from a woman claiming to be with Royal Mail based in London. She insisted that I owed £1.41 for a tiny parcel. I was quite sceptical and told her so. It definitely sounds like a scam to me.

I received an unexpected call from a woman inquiring about my postcode, claiming there was an Amazon package in some sort of holding area waiting for me. She insisted she needed to verify my address to sort it out. When I probed her about the possibility of returning it to the sender, since I hadn’t ordered anything, she surprisingly mentioned that they’d just dispose of it instead - which made me chuckle and certainly raised my suspicions.
